I've found a 44 ring in my spares box and considering sticking it on to bring my ratio down from around 70" into the low 60s.

I'll be on the Brooklyn. Mudguards staying on, fitting the rear was a pain I'm in no rush to do it again.

Read through the route this morning. Sounds like a nice gentle spin, with a painful finish. I'm starting to regret my general lack of riding this year.

We had some flowers delivered yesterday by yodel. The driver sat in his van and sent a child to run across the road, drop the flower box on the doorstep, ring all the buzzers and then run back to the van.

Flowers were intact but the box was mangled down one side.

Registered, looks fun. Canonbie looks like it hurts!

Yeah the Talbot was 200 when I got one, a couple of years ago.

@Wadi2 The one I got is a Talbot Frameworks fork. Not sure how often Matt makes them. It's a disc fork with mudguard mount in the V1 style.

I would have skidded if I'd know :)

Do like a SS V2. If I'd kept mine I would have done that to it. No option to do it on the V3.

I use a halo front hex skewer and a hexlock in the hex nut.

I like mine. Very easy to use. Pop them out, adjust a bolt, pop them back in. I feel like the parts are secure. Basically don't notice the key on my keyring.

Not been tested in anger as I don't leave the bike they are on locked up and unattended that much.

I preferred the atomic22 bits as I could see how that security worked, but the hexlox seem to be magic with magnets. Left the bike alone more when it had atomic22.

Thanks. It's a Talbot Frameworks fork. The mount for the guard is a star nut upsidedown inside the tube, I thought that was really neat.

Added full guards to mine, hoping for dry feet this winter! Bit of a bodge to get the rear on, p-clips and zip ties are holding it solid.

Need to cut and route the disc cable.

Will probably rebuild the rear wheel with a black rim to match the front.
