We should put them side by side on gangsta ride to compare V3 fork against Talbot.

I haven't. I've never used my V3 fork. I originally used the V1 style fork from the run that BMW did years ago, cause I just swapped it over from the V2. Sold that one when I got the Talbot and the V3 fork remains unused (and not for sale).

I think @HousecatHST also has a medium V3, if there is a gangsta ride and we're both on it we could compare there.

There is a medium spec for the V3 too. Not sure they released any others.

Cheers. Its a 35c ribmo. I used a MTB rim so I can't go any smaller. I regret that now as I'd like to go back to 32c.

Eventually I'll build a new wheel set that match and give more options on the front.

All the locks. Nice. Yeah it sounds like they'd make enough noise to get disturbed. Hidden GPS sounds like a great idea too.

I saw a guy in crouch end transporting his kid with a bullitt. It looked fantastic.

How/where do you store them? Can be hard enough getting decent storage for a bike in London flats.

@yokes @Samuli I thought it might be something like that. Apart from sleeping I guess most of the stops you aim to be as quick as possible.

The bike theft is sad. I wouldn't expect a lock is something you'd want to be carrying. What's the general strategy for stops when you need to leave it unattended or bivvy?

Its mostly that I think it fitted me a bit better. Rear brake bridge for single speed option was nice too.

V2 is one I regret selling. I know that the person who has it loves it and rides it a lot. The V3 is great but I wish I'd kept the V2. One day I aim to get another one.

Sounds like a solid plan. The disc brake and mudguard mounts I got added to my Talbot fork made this winter a lot more enjoyable.

Saying that. I still us them. I'd love atomic22 to ressurect. But hexlox seems like the next best thing.

One of mine broke. Pulled out the outer and the innie was still in the hole. Managed to get both free. Lucky I was at home.

Hexlox replaced with no problems. But confidence in the product shaken.
