Here's the clue. BB and pedal issues tend to go at cadence or 2 × cadence. What you describe, at n × cadence for values of n≈0.5 suggests a tight link in the chain, what you're feeling is probably the tight chain link hitting the sprocket. Since typical drives have chain lengths about twice the tooth count of the chainring, the frequency is about half the cadence.
Thanks for this. This would be the best possible scenario. Will pull the chain off and give it a look.

I have a soft clicking feeling (not even a noise) when i pedal slowly every couple of rotations. Feels like a bearing issue. Seems like potential culprits are BB, or rear hub.
I took the bike to bits and investigated but nothing seemed a miss. I don't know how to unassemble a hub or a BB and so can't quite work it out.
Firstly any tips on working out whether its the hub or the BB?
And, can a miche primato track hub be serviced/re greased?
Thanks

Ok thanks. In terms of convincingly explaining to an importer/customs humanoid why I got this sample, any ideas? Reviewer of some kind maybe? Basically I don't work in the trade so porkies would be required.
Hopefully will go off without problem (seemingly like majority of others) but just wanted to punt for ideas while I'm at it.
Thanks

Hello all, got a couple of questions. any help really appreciated.
I want to buy some 88mm crabon clinchers for the glorious summer which is coming. Purely for tarck purposes for the time being. CN*carbon and 2011cycling2011 on ebay seem fine not too worried about using them. (unless anyone has any horror stories?)
Wondering about spoke count firstly? The CN*carbon look better with less spokes imo. On the roads of London is it wise to go for the 32/34 count of the other set for stiffness durability etc?
Also, rim width? one is 23mm, the other 20.5mm. I would like to run 23mm tyres. Will both these widths be fine or is 20.5mm better? What's the difference?
Also there are these on ebay as well -
V similar shop name as 2011cycling2011 (2013cycling2013), same font/look of the specifics part of the advert, same area of china shipped from, much less but still very good feedback, £100 cheaper???? Super dodge or just the same cats with an offshoot or something?
Thanks for any obscene trollage, and ver ver much thanks for any serious answers. Nice one

Was my first CM on Friday gone. Totally loved it, pretty much grinning from ear to ear for 4hours. Big up to the guy with the jungle cart, what a fucking hero. Made me think that it must feel a bit like that being a krishna rolling round oxford st, everyone giving you love and stopping to bop for a minute as you go past etc... but on bikes.
Anyway thanks to everyone on here who went, the vibe was really strong.

Slogging up Clapham Park Road on an old shopping bike a few sizes too small for him, a tall bloke with long silver hair, clad in a cream-coloured crop-top boob tube and mini-skirt (both also a few sizes too small) with matching high-heels. Probably not on here.

Thanks to all those with the nouse to enable the less experienced or 1st timers like myself have such a fantastic time yesterday. It was obvious that it takes some management and you guys made it easy for everyone else. It was a great introduction and good to put 2x names to faces.
I took lots of photos, mostly of all your nice bikes but haven't mastered getting them up in one post. For now there is this one of Hoke looking spesh and lady tandem embracing lord tandem at the finish line (the worst quality, but richest in meaning).
Checked both pedals and they seemed smooth still.
The BB is a 103mm token one. So fairly cheap and nasty. Did think it could be this as a result. Pulled the cranks and had a feel of the spindle going round and seemed ok, no clicking or anything up close. Didn't remove it fully so should maybe do that and have an even closer look.
TM, good idea. Will check the chainring too.
