Wondering if anyone was able to help on this? I'm thinking of moving to SF in the near future (or SJ/Silicon Valley) and wondering if anyone has an invite to the LFGSS SF equivalent: http://sffixed.com/ ?

Steel preferred, also will consider aluminium frames - just want something durable for a daily 6 mile commute along the tow path. Single speed or geared is fine-
Needs to have:
- ability to mount mud guards
- ability to mount a rack to the frame (use panniers w heavy loads)
- clearance for fatter marathon tyers
- good condition, no dents/rust/etc
I'm located near Haggerston, I can pay cash asap, need a bike as my other one got half way stolen! Thanks in advance

Here's a photo of the bike, I can't seem to tell if it'll handle a bike rack, the guy is in Dartford and don't want to go all the way there or have him come all the way into Central if it doesn't have rack mounts. Can anyone advise?

Hi all,
My handle bars were stolen tonight! Details in this thread http://www.lfgss.com/thread122017.html#post4082111 wondering anyone is selling any decent parts for my commuter bike so I can start rebuilding. Attached are photos of what I'm now missing.I believe I need:
- Handle Bar
- Break Leavers
- Handle Bar Tape
- Housing for my Lezyne light
- Stem
Anything else I need? More importantly, does anyone have any of these components for sale near Angel/Canonbury? Also does anyone know someone who can install the components cheaper than an LBS?
Thanks in advance

Hi All
I'm trying to organise a trip from London to Paris over a long weekend. It'll be for 2-3 people and ideally we would be using our lighter carbon bikes instead of our touring bikes with racks/panniers.
Wondering if anyone has done this trip stopping off at small B&Bs instead of camping (so we don't have to carry a tent) if so, which ones do you recommend which is safe for the bikes? Not keen on bringing heavy locks if we don't have to. Really just want to take as little as possible.
Probably just have a small rucksack for some clothes. We'll be meeting our other halves in Paris so they'll have the rest of our luggage.
Look forward to hearing the suggestions - cheers

Hi all
I have two road bikes I bought in the uk. Brakes and shifters are completely opposite to what I'm used to in the US (left brake for me is front)
Roughly how much would this cost to swap the cabling around at my LBS? Asking here as I don't want to get ripped off...Evans quoted £80 for both bikes wth. I haven't had time to check out any LBS yet until a weekend when I'm free (and they're open!)
Thanks

The new RP. Not sure if it'll be open yet though. You can get in the White Post Lane entrance now, by the Crate.
Thanks - this is what I was thinking however waiting for the weather to dry up before heading out there.
Looking forward to VeloPark to open in March...indoor cycling could be fun!
Thanks all for the continued suggestions

Thanks - saw this and can't believe you have to pay to cycle the circuit - probably will be heaving with people as well.

Thanks both - went to 3 parks today - Regents park to do my normal laps, was fairly congested and loads of cars parking etc - always afraid someone is going to open the door on me (!)
Went to Finsbury Park and whilst the loop is rather small, there are a couple barriers which stops a non-stop loop. Pls there were quite a few pedestrians and the pavement wasn't that smooth.
Went to Clissold Park as well since it was near by - paths aren't suitable for speed laps.
Wondering if there is somewhere in/near Stratford/Olympic park to do laps without pedestrians and fairly smooth pavement?
Cheers

Hi all
I'm looking for route suggestions for doing laps without or minimal cars/traffic. I know many do Richmond Park but it's a bit far coming from Canonbury/Hackney area as I only have an hr or two in the weekends to get a good workout in.
I could do Regents Park but wondering if there is anything closer or even further East?
Thanks all in advance.

Hi All,
I just bought a Koga Miyata Roadspeed '80s bike. It has mis-matching tires and I'd like to get matching 700x23 tires. Does anyone have any tires with decent life remaining they are selling cheap? This is for a pub bike so trying to keep costs down. Just want to ensure they're decent quality so I'm too prone to flats.
Cheers all
