Was riding fast downhill while the ground was a bit moist and as I was going into a hard corner, felt the bike lose a bit of traction (was going a bit too fast and cornering too hard), had a tiny wobble, regained control but was too late and ended up kissing a lampost/railings on that corner -- face first. People that seen me mash my face called an ambulance and the day ended with me having a nasty cut (11 stitches) between my eye and eyebrow, massive black eye + swelling, sore jaw and surprisingly, very little damage to bike (instant puncture and the lip of the rim is slightly bent at 2 parts). All in all, a shit experience but certainly made me appreciate and respect ambulance service a lot more and when I can finally see from my right eye and I get back on the road, I certainly won't be pulling hard corners like that anymore.

Noticed these frames a while ago being sold in BLB and they peaked my attention. The one I was semi interested in was the Mataro but now it appears they've released a super cheap Cordoba for a mere £155. Interested in knowing whether anyone has experience with the brand and/or any input into the matter.

Selling my Abus lock. It's no more than 2 months old and has a few scrapes and scratches (the usual stuff) but works exactly like it should. Comes with 2 keys (1 with the little light) and the replacement key card. Selling because don't really need something so secure anymore and will be moving onto a mini or something. It's the 100cm version.
Can deliver to Central London depending on exactly where.

Hence the 'proper' injury part. A few scrapes have never put me off but stitches is a different story.
