I'm really shit at replacing bar tape.
It took me longer to do one side than it did to replace both my brake cables and housings - and that took an age as one of the cable end covers (do they have special name?) was stuck in the brake housing and it took ages to get it out.
Ferrule, as far as I know

I was about to say that perhaps the driver did this accidentally but then if he refused to apologies, it suggests that he probably knew exactly what he had done. In my opinion, you can try getting in touch with the police but I think they'll take your statement and as soon as you turn your back, chuck it in the bin.

Just got back from Aldi.
First impressions are that some of the gear seems to be mediocre (personally I thought the softshell jacket was alright but not worth it in my opinion) while other stuff seemed to be cheap and cheerful (the cycling shirt/jacket seems to be of decent quality but unfortunately, I have no need for one). Got myself a set of cycling shorts at £7.99. Tried them on, went for a little ride and concluded that the fit is good, can't complain about quality and that the pad (which was really the only thing that I cared about) might be better than my relatively expensive altura pads. Gonna go back there and get a couple more.

Shure do isolate ridiculously well (especially if used with the foam tips) so might not be the best for riding as you said yourself. Have heard good things about SoundMagic's over the years but due to recent problems with some straight jacks, I try my best to avoid them and go for the L shaped ones. However, I'm not entirely sure that's a good enough reason not to try them.

I have Shure SE215.
Extremely well rounded off sound with a bit more kick that these kind of IEM's usually have. Stay in remarkably well and isolation is best I've heard. More importantly, cable is detachable and there have been problems with the cable before (I was a bit careless perhaps or just general wear) and Shure have replaced it under their warranty on two occasions without any hassle. Probably the single best customer service experience I've ever had.

It wasn't fun, but again it could have been worse. A couple of inches either higher or lower and it would have been game over.
A courier friend of mine always says, it's good to crash once in a while as it certainly isn't fun, you learn and it makes you stronger. I can't say that I entirely agree but there you go. I reckon I got fairly lucky as well, could've been my head instead of my face and a few stitches is certainly better than a fractured skull!

After a fairly nasty crash and finally attempting to go over the bike to see if there's any significant damage, I've concluded that the the fork is beyond repair. Unfortunately, the crash got me at a bad time so money is tight and therefore, I'm searching for the cheapest worthy fork to replace my broken one ASAP. Throughout my search I stumbled upon this which as always seems like a good deal (Planet-X always do this ridiculous stuff) but the 25mm rake kind of scares me. I have a limited understanding of how rake affects handling but right now I really don't have the luxury of having a choice.
Only problem with having a shit, off the shell frame is limited geo but here's what I found:
TT: 549mm
STL: 550mm
STA: 73 degrees
HDL: 141mm
HDA: 72 degrees
Wheelbase: 982mmAttempted measuring the rake which was a fairly challenging task (the fork dropouts are also a bit bent from the crash) but initial conclusion is that the rake might not be so different from the Planet-X one. I guesstimated about 20 - 30mm rake (vague, I know but I'm certain it's not the more common 45mm).
Is 25mm rake for general road usage a bit extreme?

After Pete4Eyes good experience, I've decided to bite the bullet and ordered a set of Dragon 2's. Probably the only time in my life where I've felt fortunate for being a size 12.
