Yeah, mtb goggles are made to protect your eyes from branches when you’re going fast in the forest. They often have extra tear-offs to protect lenses from scratching and they are single screened, so could get foggy when used during winter. Also, ski goggles are made to use on snow, so they have darker shade, most often too dark to use in the woods. Maybe owner likes to ride fast thru the bushes but values his eyes.
