Hah. So sad and so true. I don't know why but I am checking the ads every now and then lol.
The other thing is I just can't see myself selling my Saeco's anytime soon as I just can't see me doing so.
I didn't spend years building them but some effort has been made finding various parts. Also considering they're built in quite a long run the financial impact isn't that bad.
Anyhow this would have to happen if I was to buy a proper rocket of a bike, as it would make no sense at all to keep that much cash in bikes.
Damn why this has to be so complicated?!P.s. am I trying to find an excuse for something here??? Haha

Ah okay, I'm with you guys. I was assuming if it's all set up right from the start, then what's the issues. In your scenarios this makes perfect sense and does indeed sound involving, to say the least.
On the same note seeing how much hate the 2020 Supersix is getting I'm quite digging it if not loving. Would love one with some wide-and-deep carbons w full hydro etap. But my cycling is light years away from being able to say that I need one. Neither can I justify spending 3-4k on something that won't be used to its full potential. Definitely it's more of a want than need lol.
Saying this I can't see bikes being revolutionized any further beyond all-internal disc-wireless-12s, say, supersix? What's there for us next? Can't think of nothing.
P.s. I did hate those cables ever since the beginning.

Where exactly is the issue with servicing the all-internal-cabled bike sorry? Considering most of these are electronic or even wireless (Shimano is going wireless too afaik), and I have never had to disassemble any hydraulic brakes just yet on any of my bikes?
Genuine interest and not taking a piss as I said to myself the only bike I'm upgrading my old Cannondales to is a disc-wireless-fully-integrated 21st century bike. -

Any frame ideas for modern-groupset-old-cannondale-frame build? Has to be a Gravel/CXish guise. Ideally to take 700c +-35mm tyres and some fatter 650bs? Looking at replacing my 650b Cdale MTB with something I can ride more often. Everyone around me now has a CX. I'm left out. Help.
