An Asian fella on a pretty purple fixie with an aero disc rear wheel cycling south (i think) around Hampstead Heath way (lost, so I dont actually know the road) in a black top with a yellow sleeve fanging it down the road - couldnt process the yellow sleeve/black sleeve thing in my hungover state, nice ride though.
Later a female rider in what seemed to be full 80's get up (shades, bandana, vest, ankle warmers?) on a beautiful equally 80's looking low-pro at the lights outside Tuffnel Park underground on Tuffnel park road around lunchtime. Nice again.
NL has lots of nice bikes.

I've been directly involved with multiple collisions with vehicles, all due to the fault of the driver of said vehicles. To whom should I send my press release to?
"100% OF CYCLISTS NO LIKE GOING OUTSIDE AS IS SCARED OF MAJORITY OF DRIVERS WHAT LOOK AT PHONE/FLOOR/SKY AND WAVE AT OTHER DRIVERS/PRETTY MUCH DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING BUT THE ACKNOWLEDGE THE SPACE AROUND THEM AND THE DANGER THEY POSE. PLEASE REFER TO KSI FIGURES FOR NUMBERS/FACTS. #DRIVERSEYES."

Had a numbnuts undertake me a month ago coming up to the old kent/new kent road roundabout from the Roebuck (cant remember road name although I use it every day). Before I got to the roundabout there is a bus at the bus stop. Shoulder check and indicate pulling out around parked bus. Cyclist behind me (winter gloves, some rattly mountain bike) squeezes past me on the left side between me and the bus. I'm taking it easy as am still recovering from a dislocated clavicle and catch up to him at the roundabout. Call him out, his response: "you indicated you were going right".

I drafted my opinion for this debate, then I deleted it and thought I'd share this instead:
A boy owned a dog that was uncommonly shaggy. Many people remarked upon its considerable shagginess. When the boy learned that there are contests for shaggy dogs, he entered his dog. The dog won first prize for shagginess in both the local and the regional competitions. The boy entered the dog in ever-larger contests, until finally he entered it in the world championship for shaggy dogs. When the judges had inspected all of the competing dogs, they remarked about the boy's dog: "He's not that shaggy."

I was on the lookout for terrible locking up on the way to work, saw a MTB locked on the stem and a rusty old triumph (I think) locked under the saddle.
I saw a terrible lock technique on the way in today. Bike was just stationary in the middle of the road with no lock or chain or nuffin. I was about to tell the owner what an awful job they had done but they cycled off on it when the lights went green.

^^^ thanks for the advice, will definitely try those stretches! I feel the same way with the NHS physio - although I got some results out of the physio who discharged me a month or so ago, he didn't look at my x-ray until the final session and looked at bit surprised to find metalwork firmly fixed to my clavicle. He then suggested this might be why I wasn't seeing great results and found myself unable to complete all the exercises he had given me.

Feels like ive taken a step back. Shoulder/upper arm strength dropping out at random points of stretching/rotation. On bicycle suddenly arm gives out on a turn, very scary. When lifting beer bottle to face same thing happens, also scary. Doesnt matter what the weight is so it speaks of a rotation problem rather than strength. Cant understand whats happened as been back on track for weeks/months now and just waiting for an appointment to have the plate and hook removed. Getting frustrated now and angry at negligence of driver for doing this to me back in Feb, whom I previously had little ill-feelings towards.
