Riding up Branden Road/Blundell Street towards Caledonian Road yesterday evening around 5. Not going particularly fast but faster than the two cyclists chatting side-by-side taking up the left lane. Not really a problem as traffic was light down there so I overtake whilst maintaining my speed. One rider, Maroon football socks (looked like Burnley colours), ankle swingers/trousers rolled up, hipster circle rim glasses, dark colour singlespeed/fixie seems to take offence to this and puts his foot down. Overtakes me making strange low volume "woop" noises, does two or three short skids in the wet in front of me and slows to stop at the junction, not indicating and to the left of the lane, think you went right in the end but seems you had to wait for your mate to catch up before you braved Caledonian Road. What was that all about?

I cant remember the last time I bought a ticket from someone other than from that person they put inside those machines to post them out of the slot when I want to pay the £80 fine to leave London for somewhere 10 miles away.
People only queue up to ask what ticket they need because we Brits love queueing, right? I mean, you wouldn't look at the internet for help in advance when you can wait longer for the same information later? Especially when its really close to when the train you dont know about is leaving. Tourists just join in because that's the main reason they come to the UK, as advertised in the brochure.

Calling out the tit that decided to go round the traffic hump on the right rather than the left causing him to cycle directly into my path such that I needed to brake to avoid a collision (as he was apparently disinclined to similarly impede his progress). Not sure why such a manoeuvre merited a mouthful in my direction (which was duly returned).
Head on?

Other than that, and a punish pass for no reason by a taxi on waterloo bridge (me in bus lane, him ultimately going through tunnel anyway...WAC),pleasant ride in. Nice chat with a chap on a gorgeous dark green Mercian with wooden mudguards+basket. More rides like that please.
