I just bought a 2nd-hand set of wheels to use for CX on my winter bike.
I may have pulled the trigger too quickly as I now realise I can't fit a road 11speed cassette on the Hope Pro 2 hub.However.... the wheels came fitted with a 10speed XT cassette. Out of curiosity I did a quick test to see how well the 11speed STIs and mech worked with the 10speed XT cassette.
Surprisingly it seems to work pretty well.Anyone else have any experience of running a setup like this ?
Thanks in advance

Not sure whether we're doing For Sale ads in this thread or the Classifieds section but anyway, here goes.
For sale I have most of a SS/Fixed bike - I bought the frame last year and put on a mix of new and recycled kit.
I would prefer to sell it as a bundle rather than split. But I could be persuaded otherwise if there's enough interest.Frameset + Shimano BB (BB needs a bit of welly to remove it - just haven't got round to it); blue paintjob - a few minor chips; no dings or dents; Genesis own-brand steel
FSA headset
Black Deda RHM01 bars wrapped in black Cinelli Gel Cork tape
Black M-part 90mm stem (can swap for 80mm or 100mm if you prefer)
Tektro mini-V brakes - fitted with adjustable noodles
Tektro brake levers (for V-brakes) + new-ish brake cables/housings
Silver Campag look-a-like seatpost 27.2mm dia, a few insertion scrapes, from memory it's 250mm long
Flip-flop rear wheel - Alex Rims on no-name hub; Dicta 17T freewheel and 18T fixed cog£170 for the lot is a bargain I reckon :)

Freehub on my turbo wheel looks to have fallen apart - just in time for winter!
Anybody selling or have spare an old rear wheel that will take a 10spd Campag cassette?
