Been 2 years since surgery on both knees. After the revalidation periods (yay, one knee at a time) my intestines thought it was a nice idea to go from being annoying to downright evil. Diagnosed with a spastic colon so that's a load of fun but the medication sort of works. After 2 years of not being able to do any sports, I'm finally starting to go to the gym again and I'm cycling more and more but I gained about 30kg so I need to get rid of that. At least I can ride with a light gearring again. On a normal gearring my knees still hurt. I moved a few kilometers further from the pub so instead of cycling 7km, I now have to go 12km (both single trip). So at least that's a good workout. Going to the gym monday, tuesday and wednesday, rest of the week he's closed in the evening (moved to a small village), so yeah. also going to pick up my poi's again in the hope to have a workout from them on the days that the gym is closed.

Are there very wide but more normal looking affordable SPD shoes that you can normally walk on and don't look that out of place in a work environment? The ones I've tried so far from Chrome and Shimano are so small, i have to get about 3 sizes (EU) bigger to get in them so that will never be comfortable to walk on or even ride in.
(so annoying, back in the days with those fat lip shoes I could walk into any skate shop and find a pair of shoes that fitted, but even skate brands stopped making wide shoes)

Moved over a month ago from a tiny flat to a proper house but my little lady is still confused about sounds in the house. When I walk into the front door she walks right to the back door and when i come into the back door, she runs towards the front door. I can walk through the house and if she's awake she will search for me but I can walk right past her for some reason and when I make an actual sound she looks at me all surprised. So weird.
One room is going to be for the cat and my bicycles. Nice to have a spare room.

I've seen links to creation a few times before on this thread but never gave it much thought. It might be best to order it from them. I expect about 60 euro's of extra costs for importing it (custom fees, taxes etc) so I have to take that into my calculation. I really hope to order it soon, but last night I got a phone call that someone is giving me a kitchen so I have to get a plumber, etc etc etc, to get that all in there. Just bought the house and the kitchen is 61 years old, just like the house itself.

I'm thinking of getting the SKX007K2. Never bought such an expensive watch before so I'm really doubting if I should. Any valid reasons not to or reasons why I should? Can the bezel and glass be easily replaced and are they available online if I scratch them (that's my biggest fear)? I can buy it from a jewel store for 315 euro's. Cheapest I was able to find it.

so. i went on holiday and when i came back, her fur was a mess (the bottom coat was so filled up, it was impossible to comb it out). i made an appointment at a place where they deal with cat furs. also for cat shows etc. because of the density of her fur, even on her belly, they thought it might be best to shave her, for her own good. took an hour and a half.
