insular, petty and small minded is what this thread is all about
It's stupid and childish though. When I was a kid, I was told I coon't support West Ham cos I was a 'Paki'. Nice. Subsequently, I don't give a flying fuck what others think of my choices, cos they're nowt to do with them.
(For the record, I din't choose West Ham, not cos I'm a 'Paki', but cos they're shit)

Nope you don't, but if you follow a club from the North West and come form the South East you will get called a plastic.
Yeah but I don't care about such bollocks. Cos it's insular, petty and small-minded. Like the neanderthals who give the Beautiful Game™ a bad name. Follow who you want, enjoy life.

It's at the Whipps Cross end. More than likely caused by a bbq or cig. There's always fires round there whenever there's a 'heatwave'. A big chunk of Wanstead flats got burnt a few years ago; the new green shoots coming through the charred remains a few weeks later was quite a sight.
A full on fire in Epping Forest is a terrifying thought.

I don't think it's that bad either. It's not a great place for families though (which is why there aren't many living there; go and have a walk round there, it's unlikely you'll see any children out playing). Hence why I question it's inclusivity. It's great for City workers, childless couples, young 'professionals'. Beyond that, I think it is limited. It would work brilliantly as part of a university complex, but that will never happen.
It's showing it's age, physically. And it's getting increasingly hemmed in by the proliferation of skyscrapers being built nearby. It's not the airiest and lightest of places as it is.

The clause is set at a very high value, to dissuade other clubs from trying to poach the player. Otherwise you'd have clubs simply offer the player higher wages, and they'd be leaving for much lower transfer fees.
I hope Suarez stays; he's one of the best players in the World, and if Cavani can go for £55 million, then who's to say Suarez isn't 'worth' that?
Truth is, Liverpool need Suarez, or to replace him with someone of identical ability and talent. But sadly, the way things have bin at LFC over the last couple of decades, they'll sell Suarez then spend £35 million on Darren Bent...

Liverpool owner John W Henry has asked what "they're smoking" at Arsenal after rejecting the Gunners' improved offer of just over £40m for Luis Suarez.
Henry tweeted: "What do you think they're smoking over there at Emirates?"
LOL! Like Suarez would go to Arse. He's got more chance of winning summat, where he is.
Maybe Arse are simply trying to scupper any other PL club's chances of signing Suarez. I can't believe that Arse would actually spend about 80 times what they have in the last 100 years, on just one player.
Liverpool can't afford to lose Suarez, and they can't afford not to let him go, if the price keeps going up. Still, all this attention on Suarez deflects it all away from Coutinho....

The Barbican is very interesting architecturally. And a noble attempt to create the future of housing. Would be absolutely fantastic if you love the arts. And some great details.

But does it really work as an inclusive housing project? That, I'm not so sure about.

Ah, the Goldsmithsonians? Dunno what it's like now, but when I was there in't mid-90s, it was quite possibly the perfect storm of quite rough, cheap, edgy etc, all the things 'kin students love. Loads of huge properties which were dirt cheap if you got a group of mates together to rent out (I remember one massive 8-bed town house near Greenwich going for £600 a month all in). Loads of cheap offies and kebab shops. Several pubs and clubs which woon't have survived without 'kin students.
Brockley though, as I remember, was strangely bereft of pubs. I mean, there weren't any. None. Weird.

So, I'm assuming that everyone calling me a 'plastic' goes to every single home and away game, plus Yerpean games, pre-season friendlies etc?
No. Thought not.
Back under yer stones. Oh, and keep rubbing yer wood; one day you might make fire.
