There's also http://www.lfgss.com/forum19.html
Ah, gotcha. I thought that was more for maintenance etc, rather than quick fixes, but I hadn't really given it a look. My bad.

So I saw this in the "Oh, shit" moments thread,
Is anyone anywhere east with a puncture repair kit? I will provide as many beers as it takes??
...and thought it might be beneficial to start a "quick fix"/"help me" kinda thread where people could post if they get a flat or need a hand of some kind while they're out and about/far from home, just on the off chance that someone around the area might be able to help if they see it.
There could well be a similar thread floating around, but I trawled back a few pages and couldn't find one. Also, could be a little impractical, but I guess there's no harm in posting it.

Hey everyone,
Have been lurking for a little while and only been riding fixed for about 9 months; I love it. Not being confident enough for a build of my own I had this built:
Sorry for sh1tty picture.
'88 Raleigh Corsa frame (Head badge is now on). Welcome to comments.
Unfortunately all my 'sensible' mates have bought brand new shiny, carbon fiber, 126 speed beasts. So I'm considering buying a reasonably cheap 10 speed, so that I'm not spinning like a horny cocker-spaniel.That's beautiful! I really want to respray my bike, or just make a custom build. Saving for a road bike though as I'm off to Paris in August.

Hi guys, I'm Alex.
I got curious about FG/SS while I was living in Southsea last year. Moved to London and got myself sorted now, so bought a single speed with a flip flop hub a few weeks so. Not quite courageous enough to ride it fixed yet.
I'm thinking of getting bullhorn bars and respraying the bike all together.
Also toying with buying my housemate's Bianchi Advantage hybrid and turning it in to a custom fixed gear. I was going to buy it a while ago but the gears are shot.
Any way, that's enough about me.
I do, as I'm sure many others do. Lets face it though, a flat isn't all that can go wrong when you're out and about.
