Need to have a clear-out of some stuff I've abandoned at my parents' over the years, so here we are. Everything will need to be posted unless you happen to live in rural Leicestershire, so prices include postage. Tried to price fairly, tell me if I am out!
Pair of Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H 27.5 x 1.8: brand new, unused, black/black. £70>65>55>50>40 posted
SRAM Force 1 HRD shifters and rear derailleur: shifters in pretty decent condition, mech has some scrapes but nothing too bad and works fine: £110>105>100>95>90 posted
1 x Challenge Getaway Pro and 1 x Challenge Strada Bianca Pro 700x40: were a Christmas gift and just didn't quite work for what I needed them for (fairly tight turns on fast sandy/dusty hardback). Also couldn't quite get on board with the 'suppleness', possibly because fat. They felt great on regular gravel and fast on road. Lightweight but a pain to get on. These ARE NOT the TLR version, but are the nicer/pricier Pro version. Probably seen about 50 dusty kilometers if that. £60>55>50 posted

I went through a period of buying decent conditions on sight, which has resulted in a lack of space. I would like to buy a particular Quantum Pro (once one becomes available), so it is time to get rid of a couple of framesets that have been sat unused for a few years. I will be at St Pancras/Leicester/Manchester/Glasgow in the next few weeks, otherwise I can arrange postage at cost. Not really sure how to price these, so will gradually drop if there is no interest!
53cm 2000 Klein Quantum frameset in Purple Haze. I rode this for a while in a silly build, but it has always been too small and my back hurts just thinking about the stack. My wife then adopted it, but it's sat in a storeroom for a couple of years since she got a gravel bike. Personally, I think it's in pretty great condition. There's no bubbling/dents and it has never seen a wet road under our ownership. There are some minor marks consistent with a 24 year old frame (tried my best to photograph them although actually fairly hard to see IRL due to the paint colour) - think some will actually buff out. Comes with derailleur clamp and Cane Creek headset. £360
55cm 1998 Klein Quantum race frameset in Caribbean Linear Fade. Bought on a whim a few years ago but has sat unused. Again, has some minor marks, the worst of which are on the chainstay from chain drop, but there is no bubbling or dents. Comes with Tange threaded headset. I bought some super-light and quite rare threadless Look HSC 2s as seen in one of the images and these could be included in sale for an extra cost if required (I will list these in classifieds also). £320 or £400 including Look forks

Yeah "knicks" are cycling shorts. Mostly shorts, sometimes I wear bib knicks.
https://www.cyclingweekly.com/group-tests/cycling-bib-shorts-buyers-guide-137253
My Humvee reach near my knees and all my cycling shorts are above knee. So you must be wearing much shorter shorts if you can see your knicks? Does it matter if they show? You can also get 3/4 length Humvee which are obviously longer.
The bib showing is purely aesthetic and not really an issue. The 'slipping' is a bigger PITA and requires the use of an elasticated belt done up pretty tight, especially when walking around with stuff in pockets.
Bibs would be perfect if there was a way of attaching to the main shorts at the waist - feel like I've seen this from Patagonia or somebody in the past, but spendy.

I just wear Endura Humvee over whatever old knicks I've got. There are definitely padded shorts/undies available but not used them myself and I don't really like the padded inners in most MTB shorts.
By 'knicks', do you mean cycling shorts/bibs? I've tried this before, but shorts slide down a bit and bib legs come down below the shorts as longer.

Hi all,
I noticed a post this week asking for equipment. I will be visiting Kampala with work in September and have a bunch of stuff sat in a storeroom that would be suitable to donate that I will take over in a box. Ross has stated they have people who can meet me in the city. They have asked for parts like 9/10/11 sp front and rear derailleurs, cranks, cassettes, hangers etc. I will also be taking quite a few jerseys that I bought pre-covid, barely wore, and then got too fat for!
If anybody has anything they would like to donate, I will be in the UK (Glasgow/Leicester/London) in June and then again in August, so could meet or perhaps pick up post if easier.

It's actually at my mum's house in Leicestershire. I live outside of the UK, but am back in June, so could possibly be flexible on viewing/delivery (I'll probably spend a bit of time in London along with Glasgow).
Postage an option also.
I will have to look up the measurements, but the TT is 55cm.
Got a bunch more photos etc. One odd thing is that a frameset with the same paint scheme appeared in the 1997 catalogue. But this one appears to have a serial number that points to 1984. I've never seen another Mercian with this paint, but have seen one with a very similar design in pink, so assume it was a special offered by Mercian?
Edit: they are tubs - Ambrosio rims and campagnolo hubs.
