yeah going to for sure. i kinda like them in a guilty way but they are a bit busy with the writing on the tyre as well.

really want to take the race face off the stem as I have flipped it but it seems to be under a clear coat.

Finally had a day free to put together the new pomp. Just been out for a ride, and love it! Bit strange going from a beat up criterium bike to a shiny new pomp but it already feels great, gear is too small though so will prob get a new chainring fairly soon.

28c tires are a revelation!

Have a ratty Bianchi, i think it's a Campione Del Italia.

Was gonna do it up but it is just a shade to big unfortunately.

Ofmega groupset, Modolo brakes ( the front one may be rescuable but the cable adjuster has snapped off inside the arm).

Bit battered, the seattube looks like it may have been repainted at some point....

The frame looks fine though. Columbus fodori cromor tubing and forks.

If there is interest I can email more better quality pics. Looking for £125 ish.

frame is an xl. measurements are c-t-c and are as good as i could get trying to hold the tape, balance the frame and take a picture!

Sorry to be asking another sizing question but I can seem to get my head around the pomp sizes.

My question is: Does anyone who is 6ft ride an XL?

I have a 33 inside leg and I think am a bit of a knuckle dragger rather than a t-rex....

My current bike is an Orbit criterium and is 550 square with 110mm stem and is a bit too small tbh, so I dont think the 577mm would make much difference, and if it did I can just get an 80mm stem right?

I think I would prefer to have the bigger frame w/smaller stem rather than a smaller frame and horrible long stem.

Any experiences would be great as i'm itching to join the pomp owners club!

daily ride, ratty, ugly, great.

In the last few days there has been loads of police/communtiy support folks out at the junctions on my route, mainly aldgate, through clerkenwell and up to euston.

I have only seen them talking to cyclists and have watched in dismay as cars rushed through yellow lights, stopped in yellow boxes and stopped in the blue cycle boxes.

This morning, at aldgate junction a police officer warned a cyclist next to me about being on the pavement to get around a stationary car, fair enough, but me and another cyclist pointed out that the car, right in front of him was sitting in the blue box! He just shrugged and said that the lights had changed on them

a. I feel "having the lights change on you" is not really a valid excuse for driving though red lights, I could say the lights changed on me to justify running every light! Lights change! Thats the point!

b. The traffic was moving so slowly through that junction there is no way he didn't have ample time to stop.

the policeman wouldn't have it and didn't give a shit.

I see a lot of idiots on bikes doing idiot stuff day in day out on my route and some police presence is prob a good thing, but the recent response has been so blinkered and anti cyclist its really worrying
