All the pics of FXE with mudguards have the wheel quite far back in the dropouts...is the brake bridge the limiting factor there? Has anyone got an FXE with the rear wheel tight in the dropouts? Quite fancy an FXE but hate the huge gap between seattube and rear wheel!

Just a quick q about the decathlon bag, does it pack down to normal luggage size (when empty obvs)? If, for example you just wanted to bring a bike one-way then it would only count as oversized/bike one way and regular hold luggage the other?

Im not sure what the rules are as I think they changed again this week re. meeting up but would be keen on doing some more rides either road or grav.

bikester are indeed internetstores. everything comes from stuttgart but we have been working super hard to get stuff to the UK quickly with the help of a third party company that is dealing with brexit border shit. there is no arm in the UK yet but it is being worked on afaik. source - I work for internetstores!

yea, 900 is definitely Germany prices, 2nd hand stuff seems to go for a lot more here, or at least a lot more is asked! says 2004 but unless it was a ltd ed that seems wild.

Does anyone know what the last year was that gazelle made steel CX bikes? i have found one on the classifieds but looks far more modern than anything I can find and the pictures are a bit shit. straight unicrown forks, ahead, lugged seatclamp/cluster but that is the only lug i can see, vertical dropouts...? any ideas, its lush, I think I will buy it but the guy is asking for 900euros which is a bit steep considering I will probs have to change the wheels etc. thanks for any insights!

yo @merlmoon sooooo my german let me down. i ordered 'laufradsatz' which i thought was plural, but turns out it was just the back wheel, hence the low low price. the whole set i think they said was 280 in the end. Im sure that they are very good but i opted for some novatec ones in the end which i think were 160 or so the pair. i have the supremely beaten up ones they replaced if u just need a beater set to hold you over, you are welcome to them!
