Looking at the pictures there doesn't seem be that much space around the front dropouts. I'd be looking to put mudguards on it and wonder what the clearance is like around the front brake calliper...?
Also, what are the wheels on this?

Fair. You haven't mentioned what size you got, although I'm guessing a large with the 56cm top tube?

The 54cm alfine8pomp quoted is the seat tube, thanks for pointing out the top tube though, always the more useful measure!
