I'm looking to buy a 60cm-62cm road bike. Nothing too fancy just something really a basic/starter road bike as i'm use to fixed gear/track bikes.

Not too sure on budget as of yet but ideally around £300ish give or take.

Hi,

I am currently in the process of selling my Leader 725TR and i am interested in getting myself a 62cm Road bike but wanted to ask a few questions and see if anyone could help me out.

I am 6 ft 3 and have tried 58-59cm frames before on track frames but have found them to be uncomfortable as i have knee problems. Would a 62cm frame be the right size for me?

Also, i am looking to spend roughly £300 on a BASIC road bike. Is there a specific brand/bike anyone could recommend?

I have a used BLB mint green track frame for sale which is 59cm.

I literally use this once when i first built my bike up. It has the smallest wear and tear on the inner parts of the forks where the wheels scrapped along it by accident.

The frame comes with forks, tange seiki headset with starnut installed along with a basic seatpost clamp and i'm throwing in a BLB track seatpost (27.2mm) but it is missing one screw out of two to hold the clamp in place.. but im sure one wouldn't be too hard to come by.

The asking price is £100.

Around £350 but open to offers.
