What he says at the start about missing sunsets etc is very true.
When I was a young racer, one of the old racers at my club stopped competing and started doing Audax. I was chatting to him on a ride one day
And he said exactly the same thing, how his riding is so much more enjoyable. He would stop to look at a view, take a photo, sit down.His words still resonate with me as on older (non-competitive) rider. You miss so much trying to get fit and smash out a ride, I am enjoying my riding now more than ever and am always happy to stop and take a photo.

Does anyone know of any ticket swap websites that allow you to sell physical paper tickets?
I have sold on ticketswap before but they do not allow resale of physical tickets (tixel also the same).
And on the off chance, anyone want two tickets for Shyfx at Cheese and Grain (Frome) on Friday Dec. 20th? Can send recorded delivery, event is sold out.

Keep forgetting about language transfer. I am still slogging away at Duolingo and was able to make some basic conversation last week in Lanzarote. I really need to push it on a bit though and may go back to language transfer.

Can anyone recommend any (non psilocybin!!) edible mushroom growing kits? Really struggling for a cheap gift idea for my dad. He really enjoyed the Merlin Sheldrake book lent him, so thought a growing kit might be fun.
Some of the reviews for certain kits have been very hit and miss, so would welcome a recommendation if possible.

The little cheapo drones with propeller protecting rings are good around the house but tricky outside (but my kids seemed to grasp how to fly them outdoors better than I ever could).
