Anyone interested in my commuter before I list it elsewhere?
Looking for £250, open to offers as need it gone quick
19” Giant granite MTB frame, ultimate year round commuter/ rad dad bike.
Massive schwalbe big apple tyres for tackling those Manchester potholes.
Planet X Bullmoose bars with tie dye grips so you can look as rad as your Dad (or you) did in the 70s.
Brass bell to let the haters know you’re coming.
Full Giles Berthoud guards.
Glow in the dark BMX pedals for literally no reason whatsoever.
Shimano XT(I think) wheels
1X with GX rear derailleur wide/ range rear cassette 11-36 (if I remember rightly)Cons: you won’t be winning any sprints on it unless you’re Robert Förstemann (it’s heavy, although doesn’t feel it tbh when you’re plodding along on it).
I’m really going to miss this bike, but I don’t commute by bicycle anymore and need the money for motorbike repairs.
Comes with the custom made basket bag from this here forum.

Still can’t get my previously stolen 125 to start.
The battery is definitely dead (whether that’s for good or not I don’t know as I can’t check)
I’m now stuck at the point that it lights up and will turn over, but no spark (I’ve taken the spark plug out to check it and it looks okay to me?) I can’t get a spark from it when it’s out of the engine but still attached to the lead.I did happen to look in this little box next to the battery, should there be 2 more fuses(?) in those spare spaces?
Going to have to admit defeat and take it into a shop next week as it’s becoming more than I can handle with my limited knowledge.

Look what turned up! I'm now the owner of 2 125s.
the chumps who nicked this clearly had no fucking clue what they were doing as apparently it's been sat in an alleyway a few streets over the whole time, multiple residents on the street were apparently reporting it to the police numerous times between then and now but it took them 2 weeks to "find" it.
the chumps have obviously knackered the ignition/steering lock, as well as losing the side panels (wtf?) and cut through a bunch of wires in an attempt to hot-wire it.
one of the residents told me they overheard someone on a moped on the phone to their mate saying "yeah, it's still here, we need to move it before someone else nicks it"
happy days for me!
now to get it fixed and sell the other one I bought to replace it. -

Getting straight back on the horse as they say.
Bought my second motorbike on Friday.
I didn’t think I’d be doing that quite so soon! This one now has an alarmed disc lock and a ground anchor and is out of sight so 🙏🤞
Rode it 120miles from Northampton where I picked it up which was actually not that bad and it happily plods along.
Already had an issue due to the previous owner’s “mechanic” fitting the wrong regulator and a battery that didn’t fit the cradle.
2 hours after I got it home I noticed the battery was warm and rather swollen.
Luckily a local shop happened to have the right bits and got it back up and running yesterday. -

Rode out to the Peak District yesterday after work, so much fun but boy is this bike slow! Felt like I wanted at the very least double the power.
