Eventually made it up to 33x33. One tile is stopping me from getting up to 35x35 but it's on a footpath on a moor right behind a farm & there isn't a single trace in Strava's global heatmaps up there. Will get it eventually, probably in winter when walking is more appealing than riding.

It's probably quite a Marmitey look. I personally find it looks much better than than more common reverse of skinny tubes & deep carbon wheels (often spotted on MGOOF).

TT bikes sold with the most basic of wheels are banned here BTW.

As the title suggests, a place for bikes with thick tubes (aero) & shallow rims (box section, climbing). Training wheels vibes if you will.

This is also a safe sace for hate on deep rims & skinny tubes (far less aesthetically pleasing).

Great writeup, & a familiar route & story! It's always the tradeoff with taking the flat way out east - headwind is the leg killer on the second half.

That seems like a reasonable explanation. In my defence, I have a status message which is shown in chat which links nohello & tells people to go to our team's support channel rather than messaging me directly.

lol it didn't last long - frame now somewhere in the loft. I think @Tor was too embarrassed to ride it, plus has much better options these days.
