This is how I've setup my vaude panniers. It's not possible to move the bag any direction. No issues on roads like these. If it was a traditional pannier, filled with a lot of weight im sure it wouldn't work as well. Which is kind of the point! Small, light weight and well designed panniers definitely have a place in bikepacking/touring offroad.

Those roswheel are amazingly light yes! I don't think they work well if overstuffed or filled with heavy items. But with some bungee cords they could probably be mounted securely enough for offroad touring. Their packability is pretty cool. I can imagine packing them in a framebag and taking them out to do some groceries before you hit camp.
So far i like the vaude aqua front light panniers a lot. Compared to the ortlieb gravel panniers i think their shape and cinch ability works better on single track, especially up front. What issues come up in their reviews?

Yes it's way too expensive new, especially considering import taxes. I would only consider the infinity saddle if you've tried all kinds of saddles and still suffer from saddle sores. It feels quite similar to selle smp saddles. I had to raise the seatpost quite a bit, you're really sitting in the saddle instead of on.

The bagman would be useless without the support struts for my camper longflap. It's a pretty solid setup but I'm going to replace the screw that holds it on the saddle rails with a longer one so i can put a nut on top. The screw does tend to loosen after a while.
The saddle is an infinity seat. Basically you sit on anything but the sitbones. It popped up on marktplaats and thought to give it a try. So far like the saddle alot, no saddle sores.
I'm only on day two of my trip, but i hope I'm still as enthusiastic about this setup in two months time.

In my experience the vaude aqua light panniers are also super solid with 1 extra hook. Wanted a rack for a rando bag upfront and couldn't mount anything cages anymore on my fork as a result. The panniers sit a bit higher on the Specialized pizza rack, works better then lowriders for trails. Current setup is for a 2 month trip.

It's kind of hard to recommend a TWS bud because the fit is such an important aspect of them. It's also something that is improving all the time with new buds coming out every month. The Sony WF1000XM4 are there best tws money can buy, if your budget is lower i suggest reading the excellent reviews on http://www.scarbir.com.

Get the support struts and it will be. I've used the bagman qr with the support struts and a camper longflap on my fully rigid bike and it's been super solid. Main weakpoint is the bolt that clamps bagman on the saddle rails. Check it periodically if it's still tight and carry a replacement bolt just in case.

RM can probably start an investigation and get the package send back. I've had a package send with PostNL stuck in Iran for weeks. After starting an enquiry about my package I was contacted by PostNL telling me they would start an investigation together with Iranian postal service. My package was found and returned shortly.

this would work well with a saddlebag on the front. It's pretty much a bagman that fits on your steerer.

I wonder if thru axles and flat mount is going to be the next technological advancement that won't stick. Like pressfit bottom brackets, they only offer an advantage in certain circumstances.
These frames would be my ultimate gravel/bikepacking/epic long journey bike. Geo that's based on the salsa Fargo. It's a stiffer frame so will ride better with heavy load, has 135mm qr dropouts and it isn't suspension corrected so you have way more front rack options. Now if only it had a kickstand mount.

I didn't call you a TERF, all i did is call out the claim that the term TERF is designed as an insult. I acknowledge that TERF is being used to call out people for more then just being a trans exclusive radical feminist. It has kind of become a designation for people who's feminism isn't intersectional. Calling someone a trap is offensive because it dehumanizes trans people. Calling someone a TERF isn't dehumanizing anyone. Calling someone a racist slur is offensive because it's dehumanizing . Calling someone a racist is not dehumanizing. It's calling someone out for what they say or believe.
Now for some epic wtfness, in 2016 a Dutch politician was found guilty in court for offending another politician by calling him a racist. This politician said several racist things like he isn't opposed to religious schools except when they are Islamic or that dutch citizens with an immigrant background should receive harsher sentences then white citizens.
-
I'll repeat myself because my argument seems to not be clear enough. I'm not saying that TERF can't be used as an insult, but what i am saying is questioning the term itself is a pretty good signalling of someone who does seem to question trans womans rights to be included in feminism. Trans peoples humanity isn't up for debate when you ask me. When someone does so they are the ones who suppress a debate, not the people who call them out for being a TERF. I agree that the experiences of womanhood of trans womans are different to those from woman who have not transitioned. But that is no reason to exclude trans woman from feminism, if you do so your feminism isn't intersectional.
I'm not saying those 1,000 Corbyn supporters are actual anti-Semitic racists because they find it offensive to be called one. But when all those 1,000 Corbyn supporters would reply with how anti-semitic is a problematic term, you would probably scratch your head wouldn't you?
