Any tips for setting up a smp composit for midfoot position?
Can't seem to get it set up right.
Also how do i best get rid of the embroidery as it's eating up some of my shorts. -

Like in English, you wouldn't read these letter for letter but rather recognize the word as a whole.
Very cool watch and the Arabic date makes its even nicer in my opinion.

What level of automated "improvement" occurs in modern-day film processing?
Back in the 90's when I used to send my films off to Jessop (GB) or HL Markt (D) I'd expect about 20% failure rate . nowadays everything I send to Snaps photo services is bang-on.
I'm a bit more sober these days but even so, the majority is still sunny 16-guesswork on battered old cameras so I can't be that much improved over my 15 year digital hiatus (2000-15), particularly in view of my deteriorating eyesight...
I'm assuming that modern day machinery automatically pushes underexposed images to make them nice - is that likely or would you need to push the entire film?
Maybe it's just the scanners that improve everything - the metadata tells me it's a Fuji SP-3000, presumably that's where the magic takes place....My experience has actually been the other way around. The shots i took 10 years ago seem to be a lot more contrasty and had better colors then what i get lately. But that might just be because these days film sits forever in my camera's.

Seems that the Olympus mju II has increased so much in value i could sell mine and get a yashica t3 and some extra film. Thanks for pulling my attention to the t3!

I get the same with mine, using iso 400 film doesn't make a difference. It just always seems to prefer to focus on the background, which results in out of focus portraits.

I've lost my t5 in the woods years ago. Replaced it with a mju II since prices for the yashica's have gotten ridiculous, but it really doesn't come close to the crisp shots i was getting with the yashica. Also i really struggle with the mjuII's autofocus. Here are some shots from my mjuII.

I've got a koni omega rapid 200 and although its bigger and heavier then my minolta autocord, i prefer to walk around with the koni because it's much more ergonomic and easy to handle.

I've replaced the screen in my minolta autocord with a maxwell screen. It's a plain screen without a split image or micro prisms, but it works great with the focus magnifier. The screen is bright and it just pops in to focus. Doesn't feel slower then getting a 35mm slr in to focus.

Have you looked at the koni omega rapid or the mamiya universal?
Both are medium format rangefinders that are affordable and have good glass. -
I've got a epson v500 and a konica minolta elite scan 5400, but the difference between scan results isn't that big. The biggest difference is in resolution and a bit more dynamic range, which isn't noticeable anymore after edits for almost all my shots.
Maybe get some of your negatives scanned somewhere else and see if there's a big difference with your own scans? -

Browsing through some old shots today. Square ones are taken with a minolta autocord. The 35mm ones are taken with a konica hexar af that i sold to @haveo two years ago.

I would try to get something smaller. Vintage watches that measure about 28 up to 33mm are plenty and cheap.
