Just had confirmation from auction house. I was expecting all sorts of charges to be deducted from my total but not so. The total deductions from my 4 lots were a paltry £28.38 which is an amazing deal. More money in my pocket... When I dropped the whisky at the auction house their eyes lit up telling me they had at least two clients looking for that particular bottle, so that probably helped

They are offering me around 55% of what it sells for, I don't mind them making a profit but I'm not going to be lining their pockets for little work after me carefully looking after the bottle for the last 15 years. -

I fitted 3 BT Extenders, they worked some of the time and were hopeless most of the time. My solution was cheap as chips buying a couple of BT Hub 5s and making them repeaters. I have one fitted in the attic at the opposite side of the house from the main router and am now getting a speed of 50Mbps where before I was getting 2Mbps. I fitted the second repeater hub to an outbuilding and the speed there is 57Mbps. Here's a link detailing how to set up the BT5 hub as a repeater. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FcAZ7zI0iNI

I'm considering buying a pair of used thru axle wheels but the thru axles are a different size to my requirements and I need a bit of advice. Picture below is the hub I am referring to
My requirements are:- Front 100mm x 15mm thru axle... rear 142mm x 12mm thru axle
The wheels I am looking at are Front 100mm x 9mm thru axle... rear 135mm x 10mm thru axle
Is this a case of just changing the end adaptors to the correct length, if so where will I get adaptors?
Will the axle already in the hub take a bigger thru bolt or will it require changing?
Are any special tools required for any work required? -

Delighted with the auction site I used which was https://www.just-whisky.co.uk Payment directly into my bank in 10 days (they guarantee payment within 21 days) Great company to deal with, answer emails very quickly and no rip-off extortionate fees so very happy to recommend them if you're looking to sell whisky
