It's Pelago commuter with custom made legs. Nowadays Pelago actually sells also Lowrider Pannier Support, which is quite close to the ones I have. But basically you have to buy both Pelago commuter rack + pannier support.

I reckon here you have 60mm 650b Berthouds with 48mm tires. Looks good imo.

Thx! They're 38x700c and 50mm Gilles Berthoud mudguards. I wouldn't try fit any wider without crimping.

Me neither. I was planning to buy Tektros, but my local shop here in Finland had those in stock, 25 euros each maybe. I find it good that you can adjust the feel quite a lot with position of the hanger and the length of straddle cable. These two are actually the only cantis I've used, so can't comment on Avid etc. And on project itself: it's awesome!

I've been using for a little while Genetic cantilever brakes with longer Kool stop thinline pads and Yokozuna compressionless brake cables and they function smoothly. They are pretty much the same as Tektro 720 but come with barrel adjusters.

Or you could go with Ghetto shift .

E.g. SJS sells that shifter really cheap. I have that one (9 speed version) in my GF bike and it works fairly ok.

Not at the moment, basically basket is attached with cable ties to this mini rack that many shops sell (SJS, Bike24 etc). I think mine is Cube RFR Rack. If you wanted it to be more theft proof I would secure the basket with a holed plate and screws into the rack. So basically this combo costs 20+10 euros.

Yeah it works quite well, I'm about to try different front derailleur (CX-70) though, as 105 is difficult to position without chain rubbing at big ring in easiest gears.

CNC-bike had few of them available last year with stupid 52-36 rings that I replaced with TA 44-28 rings. I haven't seem them recently anywhere else.

8 speed derailleur works fine with 10 speed as well, but same does not apply to shifter. If you want to keep your current 8x system, Shimano makes 8 speed cassettes in 11-34 range and then there is even this 11-40 cassette by never heard brand ZTTO , but I reckon the jumps are not that nice.

Yes. Running Surly Knards (41mm, but close to 42mm) with SKS Longboards (45mm). They work fairly nice, but I am going to replace them with 50mm Gilles Berthoud though as I have clearance for them.

I'd also consider Pelago fenders (45mm as well). They are nice quality, slightly cheaper and easier to find. I also considered Zeppelins, but they've been out of stock for a year in every European shop I could find.

I haven't seen before any racks being mounted through headset. So custom I reckon. How about BLB's flat rack?

Here's a tip. I installed yesterday IKEA's Pleja basket to my girlfriend's bike that suits really well for Restrap's Wald 137 bag. I reckon the basket and rack combo weighs in total slightly less than 500 grams.

In the US they seem to pop up at times around 100-200 $ and to my understanding same lightweight aluminium as men's models, please correct me if not.
