I have the same problem with a Stoemper frame I used to race crits with... Cracked both chainstays at the dents where the tire is located. Hangs on the wall for 2 years now with the idea "it will get fixed someday..."

Right before the very first NLcrit race in the Netherlands (7th of April) there's a fixed crit clinic hosted by Yvo Kinkel from team FAST. He's got bare experience riding and racing fixed gear crits.
I know it's a bit long to come over to the Netherlands for a clinic and race, but just putting it out there :)
NLcrits are divided in 2 groups too. The B category for beginners and the A category for experienced riders. So could be a good low key intro to the sport of racing fixed !
