Yep single front chainring so I think he just rewired to have two push switches – up on one extension and down on the other. That is a clean front end!

Chaos around Westminster this morning - Abingdon Street completely shut on approach to Parliament Square - had to cross the river a few times to try to get round. Police said it was a "crime scene" when I asked which roads were shut. Didn't sound good, no idea what happened but hope no one hurt.

Viviani went down hard in Tirreno-Adriatico sprint today - looked like he crossed with Cavendish and got taken out by Cav's rear wheel (although haven't seen replay). Shame, looked like it was going to be a good scrap.

Not seen confirmation yet, but looked like a classic collarbone the way he was holding his arm. Such a shame, looked like he dropped back to get rid of some kit in prep for a strong finish. Sad times.
