Finally got in there yesterday morning. Full of mums. No bad thing. Sadly, the flat white was decidedly average (although I'm not keen on Small Batch coffee).
Anyways, they have some dinky locks on bike stands outside - just pop in and ask for a key. It's all windows as well so you can easily keep an eye on your bike while you sip on your Oolong...
So, now you know...

Arse. Hope you're alright.
The council's meant to be fixing up the Vogue gyratory to make it safer for cyclists but I don't see what they can do without digging the whole thing up. They reckon they're gonna add a 'dedicated cycle lane headed north' reducing the northbound gyratory from 3 lanes to 2 and adding that dedicate cycle lane. [1]
Proposal is for an "On-road 2 metre northbound cycle lane through The Vogue Gyratory. There will also be improved pedestrian facilities and more efficient traffic lights to aid the flow of traffic. The existing southbound cycle lane would also be widened to 2 metres through the gyratory system" [2]. Although apparently they have to work through some issues to do with buses (Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) process)? which seems to be a government thing so could take some time.
Unfortunately, they also say this: "However, initial modelling undertaken on the proposals for the Vogue Gyratory is suggesting that an unacceptable level of additional delay is likely to occur for northbound traffic on Lewes Road south of the Vogue Gyratory as a result of the proposals. Therefore, further design and modelling iterations are required, in conjunction with key stakeholders, to ensure that the desired benefits for buses, cyclists and pedestrians do not create unreasonable disbenefits for other users. Traffic Orders and detailed plans for the Vogue Gyratory will therefore not be published until this work is complete and any objections received will be heard at a future meeting of the Transport Committee."

Funny, was just thinking about this the other day - thought of approaching Velo cafe to hold one once a month or so. Thursday evening or something like that. Nothing too fancy. People bring parts down in cardboard boxes, lay them out. Have a coffee, have a beer, have a haggle.
Saw something like this in Brooklyn outside a subway station and thought it was cool.
Ties in with what Ollie G was saying about Velo as well - be good to have a cyclist presence at Velo so it's not completely owned by "bored mums from the park".
Disclaimer: Looking out for myself here - I have all of two parts to sell but plenty I need to get and would rather a) buy from a local and b) be able to learn from them.
Either way, would definitely attend a jumble sale.

@Dazaa, haven't seen the wheel or heard from you in a bit. What's up?

This RAM is 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz, taken from our iMac 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo 24-inch (Mid 2007) after upgrading RAM. I'll leave it to you to check compatibility with your own machine.
Retails for ~£10 so offering FREE (just pay for postage).
The RAM is like this http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT12864AC667 but brand is hynix rather than Crucial.
So this then: http://www.mrmemory.co.uk/memory-ram-upgrades/model/Apple~iMac~2.4GHz+Core+2+Duo+24-inch+%28Mid+2007%29.
Installation is pretty easy - you can find guides on the Crucial site.
Enjoy,
Rob. -
