Thanks, all. Will keep considering and report back.
@Thrasher disc brakes, innit. and the mudguard mounting bolt on the fork (Columbus) is at the rear, so not forward facing...
@PhilDAS Supernova is one brand that looks promising, thanks.
@timmah! Unfortunately my current job does not come with a bike friendly machine tooling and fab workshop in the basement....
@LWaB Mudguards are pretty solid all (Radial) with a short reach forward from the fork, so it is quite rigid.

I am struggling to find what I want - which is a battery powered LED front light which can be mudguard mounted.
20-40 lux ideally, mostly 'to be seen by' but also 'some help on unlit bike paths this winter'. I'd prefer rechargeable Li-ion but AAA batteries would be OK.
Just like the picture! I can find examples a plenty for e-bikes or dynamo powered...but not battery. Spanninga, Busch & Müller, etc - no luck.
Any of you got a suggestion?

This is a great and superlight road/climbing wheelset, just surplus to my needs.
Both rims good and true.
Nice U shaped profile, but not too bulgy.
Braking surfaces are good and braking is a good standard (I have found Reynolds Cryopower blocks to be the best).
Bitex stock bearings upgraded to Enduro Abec 4.
Stans yellow tape installed.
Not tubeless ready, no QR skewers or cassette included!
Included: a pair of 25mm Schwalbe Pro One TT tyres, with very limited (<100k) road useFront: Radial 20H, CX Rays. Internal width = 16mm, external width = 23mm. Depth = 25mm. 100mm QR. Weight 580g
Rear 24H, CX Rays, Campag ceramic freehub* Internal width = 16mm, external width = 23mm. Depth = 40mm. 130mm QR. Weight (no cassette) 720g *Easy to swap – see https://bitexhubs.co.uk/product/bitex-freehub-body-48pt/
Wheels are in Copenhagen but am happy to post by UPS in a dedicated cardboard wheel box with spacers and packing, etc. UPS 3 day service to the UK mainland will be £25
Also happy to supply more photos.

Just bought a fixed & tubular wheelset off @bkromann - well packed, safely delivered (all within Denmark!). Tak for hjulene!

Yes, agreed - in fairness to Matt.
My first gen Isen has had some annoyances but in general it rides wonderfully. I’ve racked up 10,000k on it!As a road cruising machine with 28mm rubber it is smooth and fast. With guards, I ride it all winter on the road.
I find it just fine for my gravel riding (Danish forests, mostly hard pack fire road type surfaces) with 33s.
My chain stay clearance is such that it will just take a Challenge Grifo 33, but can’t accommodate a Challenge Chicane 33.
Here it is this evening in gravel mode.

Unlike @d0cA - my cap order to Denmark was not marked down by Milltag to swerve any charges
Unlike @atz - I wasn't prepared to pay double VAT and a comedy processing charge. I don't want to pay £50 for a cap.So after a little back and forth, Pete @ Milltag has refunded me my £18, which I have just donated to the forum instead.
I'd rather have had the cap, but hey ho. I'm glad I don't operate a UK small business trying to sell to Europe, having to deal with Brexit induced idiocy for such a simple and small sale.

At least the home refurb allows you a decent inspection of the frame. This is what I found on my GFTi v1 in spring 2017 (2013 frameset).....it's the underside of the chain stay bridge area....
Kinesis at least replaced the frameset without quibble. By contrast, I have a similar vintage Burls Ti frameset. That's still going well and managed the Paris-Roubaix parcours three times!

Yes, these are still available but first dibs rn to @v11boy
