Should be fine, slight increase in height simply relaxed the head/seat tube angle more that's closer to a road bike than track.

Your only concern is merely the bottom bracket height being slightly higher.

Has anyone fitted Alpina CX forks to their PC? I want to run a cantilever front brake and thought these would do the trick. Not sure if the difference in rake would cause any issues?

I've got a 60cm Dolan Precursa frame 4 weeks old. I'm 6"1" and it was a little to big for me so I bought a 58. It's practically brand new. Was thinking £60 plus postage, i live Newport S. wales

This is likely to be your lightest bike, why not get a really good lightweight wheelset to match it?

i.e. American Classic rear track hubs (24h) and front road hubs (Pro-Lite Como Front Hub 20h) laced to Velocity A23 would be very light in comparison to a typical fixed wheelset, maybe around 1200-1300g altogether compared to a typical 1800-2000g fixie skidder wheelset.

With heavy component on mine, it's end up 8.5kg, reckon with your, around 8kg or under.

By the way, think your saddle may need to be moved back a bit.

I use Miche Pistard WR Track wheelset Nic and light and have proved very strong on the road.

Admittedly it was SupaDec paint stripper but it's worked pretty damn well on other frames. Oh well, shotblasting should ice the fucker though.

I used to have a PC about 2 years ago and found it fairly comfy on the road. I've just bought another PC frame to build up onto my Miche wheel set, I'll post on here when complete.
