Its sound, no issues with welds or anything.
It has issues with brake mount on rear. It has been filed too low and needs packing up.
It wasn't faced properly by the look of it.
You would need to tack a couple of thick riser washers on (2/3mm) then face or don't bother and use it for a turbo bike, no brakes needed.
I could get this sorted but it's just too small for me so not bothering.
Some touch up around said mounts.
Front fork brake mouns could also do with facing but plenty of meat. (full carbon)
This thing is the best handling thing I have ever ridden

Two Potenza groups here. Super reliable. I have Chorus carbon cranks. If I was going 12 I would keep cranks (and try first) and def not bother changing calipers, maybe even try keeping front mech. I would want campy cassette as they have sensible 11/34 ratios.

No broken cranks. Shifters that are re-buildable (for years after end of model), brake hoods that don't look like they are off a giants bike and cassette ratios done by someone who can read a gear chart. Campagnolo. Good luck with sale sir.

As you have asked: Seems like a lot of money to me. Aus is expensive though, I'm often surprised by how much stuff seems to cost there. UK price I recon would be £300 ish maximum. A quick advanced seach showung sold items on UK eBay confirms this. External cable Shimano has to be really wanted by someone for a retro project or they will just buy a later hidden cable group.

Some of these replies belong on Weight Weenies, ffs if the thread annoys you go away. My point was nothing to do with braking performance. It was looking at a way of getting higher end groups in the future for people with expensive rim brake bikes. A little niche product that would allow hydro group on rim bike. The rims will be available for ever, just like tubs still are.

Just seen the SRAM ones. Was more thinking of something that can go on the end of Shimano shifter hoses. There are a lot of Ti and expensive steel rim frames out there that owners never envisage replacing. Now it's Campag (my choice) or lower groups only. Still waiting to see what Cues road shifters will look like.

Another odd thing. If you buy tyres from Deportvillage or similar Euro places the price seems fixed for all sizes. Here in UK they get more expensive as the size goes up. Odd or opportunism?
