Thinking of converting a Koga Miyata. Would need the following:
Preferably shiny silver, but if all black so be it
Rear wheel (or set maybe), will be spacing out to 130 so no 110 stuff.
Cranks and BB open to size of chainring but need to get to around 70 inches
Brake levers, yes two, internal cables.
Maybe sprocket/lock ring and chain... but not adverse to buying new
I am in North Devon but have mate in Weybridge near Heathrow
Not rushed, open to thoughts -

Might consider selling this frame. 63cm Koga Miyata Flyer. Internal rear brake cable. 57cm top ctc. FM-1 and FM-2 tubing. It's in North Devon but you could arrange pickup. £170? It is immaculate as possible to be after build. Done 4 miles. Change of plans. Whole bike is on Potenza with RS11 wheels (needs shiny wheels IMHO) Shimano casssette 11-32. Maybe whole bike but don't want to ship as no box etc.
Fresh powder coat in Malbec, sort of translucent. Good headset. -
Metal frame Decent tyre clearance but standard drop brakes.
60 preferred (or 24") but a big 58 will be ok
Pref racey. Ahead if possible but not a deal breaker. Alloy is fine.
Carbon fork or straight steel. Post (or I arrange).
Something like the Spez Smart Weld I missed or maybe a modern take on steelI have an old Koga, two Jacksons and a Titainium Spa.
This is to re-frame a failed Carbon thing.Would consider carbon Look, Time or Spez
Thank you

I'm 6'2 and have 35.25 inside leg to floor. Look on Dolan website at Preffisio size chart. The 61 is perfect for me. I'm lost on a 56 and IMHO a 58 looks like I bought the wrong size. It's all down to the geometry of frame though, I know a man who rides 56 at the same height as me but his legs are shorter and arms longer so he has a very long stem slammed. Go and sit on bike is only answer but I recon unless his 56 has HUGE amount of seatpost showing it'll be too big. Bear in mind crank length too, big bikes tend to be 175mm. If he doesn't buy it share the bargain!

Just a heads up that may help people with cheaper bikes. My old Koga Miyata has a modern R2000 Claris 2x8 on it, I won it cheap and new. Always been clunky at the back. Just put a 10 speed Tiagra chain on, now it's perfect. Seems the new 8 speed cage in rear is narrower and the 8s chain was (just, very just) rubbing cage. Wonder if Shimano have specced the chain width down to 9s or something?
Spell check says Shimano should be Hiroshima :)

BR would be my go-to place should I wish to append every post with a "wacky" quote used as a signature. Which I don't.
Oh that wacky English language
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_EnglandOr did you mean Merry Christmas?

Whole BR place is a bad experience.
There is a post on here somewhere about a bloke zig zagging past fat b***** pushing their carbon bikes up hill (he's on an 80 odd inch fixed). Made me laugh my socks off. Try that on BR. You'll get tons of replies about how offended they are. I fell foul recently. Made me run straight back here, made my Christmas donation too!
Am I right in thinking BR is sort of shop front, business orientated type thing? Its very, ahem, Middle England........
Merry Chrismas
Yeah, although does say any inspection welcome. Proper frame.
