just though i would post my beloved -sort of- frankenbike.

A quick list of the slightly unusual things about my bike.
V-brakes, 8 speed strumey archer xrf8 with twist shifter rammed up the top of the drop bars, 36 hole hub laced onto a 32 hole rim, early 2000's ribble time trial bike i picked up for a tenner (some how), 1 inch ahead cycloX forks, campag scirocco g3 front wheel dented to hell, home made derailleur hanger i made for a chain tensioner but turned out the ring on the sturmey was too big so now i just experiment with different chains the get the tension right.

yeah, i'm still really pleased with the price, its a fraction of what you would pay to get a builder in england to do you a custom frame

damn, i thought my build came to a bit more than everyone else on here, it totaled 230 euro inc p&p

it says 30 euro for smooth welds on they're website and to be honest the price does add up if you get all the bells and whistles. saying that i am still getting it

how much for the chain ring? is it 1/8" or is it for multiple gears? also what bcd is it?

Hi, i thought i would stop pestering snottyotter and pose a few questions before i go ahead and and buy one of these fine frames. id like to thank you in advance for any advise you can give.

1. how much did/would it cost for a triple triangle, oval tubed, low-bro with sparkly paint inc p&p
   
2. Im 6ft 2 but love smaller frames so would a large be fine?
   
3. are there any recommendations any of you could give in terms of options like the internal headset or certain tubing, smooth welds, stuff like that.
   4.how do i go about ordering myself one of these and how do i specify what exactly i want, is there an order form or should i just email the company?
   I do apologise if any of these questions have been asked before but iv pretty much read through the whole thread but might have missed a couple things. thanks once again for any help you may be able to give.

damn, here's me thinking i had explored every option, that pearson is looking very nice as im looking to upgrade my chainset as well, but then there is the prospect of being able to get a mash look-alike for very cheep too, this is going to take some thinking about. ill have to ask on the thread about the ins and outs ordering one.

yeah, i was thinking about a pre cursa and the langster (in the case of the langster they come up second hand for practically nothing on ebay) but i was possibly looking for something a little more "snazzy" as it were, preferably something with a cut out down tube like the examples i gave, probably should have mentioned it in the original post but i didn't want to put people off.

Hi, iv been trawling ebay, classifieds and this form for quite a while now. My apologies if iv missed something glaringly obvious but to the best of my ability's i haven't seen anything as of yet.
I'm looking for a cheep aluminium frame with horizontal dropouts in the size 55 to about 60 but i would prefer a 56 or 58. iv been looking at frames like the leader 725, dolan track champion, even a crappy visp to be honest, i'm not really bothered just as long as i don't have to continue to using a damn chain tensioner on my old road bike.
I'll be using it to being going to collage and also at herne hill velodrome.
I'm looking to spend under £250, preferably less but feel free to offer anything even if more because i can only say no :)

Sadly, after consultation with my shed i have to stop buying frames i like, my apologies. That blue frame really would look the business with a new lick of paint though, ill put the word out with my friends to see if anyones interested, good luck with the sale!
