Two years after buying this, I finally got it up and the running. First ride was briljant.

First time using the gravel bike offroad at Terschelling island.

This is the look I am aiming for. No sure if yellow cables will fit the picture.

Tires will be Schwalbe All Mighty. Logo's will probably look awful, but a permanent marker should fix that.

That is on my to do list. The owner said he had it maintained by his bike shop when he rode it, but it had been some time since he last rode it. Let's hope new oil is all it needs.

Rohloff is in the house. Got it cheapish as part of a bike. No idea about the condition, but they last forever I read everywhere.

Once you go fat, you can’t go back. This is going to be my second shot at building a fat bike. Thinking of going with a Rohloff this time.

Wouldn't something like this be nicer? It's a German:A kilo. Looks like it should be doable to cut it down to a smaller wheel size.

20" full sus steel folder. Somehow this sparkes my interest. Like this, but with Moots YBB soft tail style suspension and chopped down lauf fork? Sounds awesome, but might look horrible...

New approach for the Milani frame. Ditching the weight weenie stuff. Going for fully functional and affordable now.

Picked up some lovely Mavic R-Sys wheels for very little money. Only downside is that they are not true. I ordered the tools to get them straigh again. Fingers crossed that I will be able to get the job done.

Not sure about the tires yet. They came with GP 4000sII tires which look great. I changed them for Specialized tires, which are soooo very smooth, but feeling the sidewall color on these.

I would say road weight weenie is overrated. Weight weenie mountainbikes on the other hand are the best. The Radon I built up is hands down the most fun bike I ever had.

So I put together some of the parts for the weight weenie road bike project. Much to my surprise it didn't excite me one bit. Starting to wonder if I should move forward with the whole endeavour.

Going to give these a try next Sunday on my mountainbike. I have been using these pedals on my road bike for a couple of weeks now and I am really liking them. They should be fine for mountainbikes, but I can't help but wonder how they will cope with mud.

That would be awesome. I love these pedals. I have 2 sets already but both have shitty bearings and they are no longer made.

They are being sold on OLX. I contacted the seller, but he refused to ship outside of Romania.

The best I can tell shipping to The Netherlands (where I live) is rather inexpensive and pretty easy. Obviously I would be willing to pay a fee for the help.
