I am selling a pair of Tune Blackburner 27.5+ carbon mountainbike rims

These are high quality lightweight rims. Great for plus size tires, but will also work with fat bike tires (I used both). Rated for enduro, but would make a great bikepacking wheelset as well. Weight is approx. 475 grams.

I bought the rims new and removed the original finish. After that I applied a 2K clear coat over the bare carbon. The finish isn't perfect, but looks great.

The rims are in very good condition. They have only seen limited use and were never crashed or anything like that. No damage to the carbon whatsoever.

I would like to get 400 GBP for rims. Shipping from the Netherlands to the UK/EU is included in the price.

It features a US handmade steel frame. Parts are mostly Shimano XT 10-speed (hubs, drivetrain) and Stronglight cranks.

The bike is in good condition with normal signs of use. The frameset does not have any dents or damage.

Were you running the stock brake pads? Because those are terrible. I changed them for SwissStop pads, which made a huge difference.

In addition to XTR 970 and 9000, I now have 980 in my stable.

First time for me on a 'funpark' style track. Scary as hell, but after three runs I started to get to get the hang of it.

They feel unlike anything I have tried so far on this bike. Which is saying something, because this is already my fourth handlebar so far (before MCFK, Jones H-Bar carbon, Groovy Luv Handles).

The angles feel very similar to the Luv Handles, which is great because I really liked those. They are much wider than anything I have used so far though. Combined with the 'riser' bit, they have a pretty big impact on the handling of the bike. Not sure yet if it is an improvement.

Lubing the inside of the screw on fitting with some grease helps too.

We finally got some dry and sunny weather in the Netherlands. Seems like forever when that last happened.

First ride with the new wheels/tires yesterday was a blast. Grip is superb and so is comfort.

Wood you by any chance be selling the Woodman? I just fitted a silver Thomson, but not really feeling the finish on my bike.
