Hi trying to get an old frame running again.
It's a Sun frame from Birmingham. No other markings than that. I have got a set of calipers to measure the seatpost and I think it's 26mm. Does anyone know what's the correct post diameter to buy.??
I have found a 25.8mm on dreaded eBay but don't want to buy the wrong one.
Caliper is a cheap digital one so may be slightly out
Any help appreciated

Yep top end of your estimate Ribblekid, but the frame fabrication style was exactly what I wanted, and the total price was far far less than a custom built steel frame I had been quoted weeks before.
Completed build pictures are on the fixedgears.biz facebook page... just built today by them.
is this alloy though? or steel.

Slaying the puppy,,,, I did it to one of my bikes, not a hard thing to do,
But you will need to touch up afterwards. As it will leave bare meta exposed.
