Hello,
I'm sure some you have experienced that old problem when acquiring a frame that everything will be fine except that one of the blasted rear dropout adjusters will be seized solid whilst the other will unscrew with no problem.
Usually i just leave it and put a new screw on the good side and line up accordingly.
Does anyone here have a definitive method of getting these things out?

I do have a quill post for it, however as you most likely know they are quiet rare and very expensive and apart from the hassle of not being able to casually adjust the saddle height if it ever got stolen it would be game over.
If i can get a chap to do a good clean job on it then any re-sale value may well be enhanced because any regular post can be utilised.

Hello Chaps,
I have yet another Moser frame (Alu) that comes with an unslotted seat tube which is intended to take a quill type seat post.
My question is what is the feasability of getting a slot cut into the seat tube so that a conventional seat post and collar can be used?
i won't be doing this but would seek out a local frame builder to do the job.
If you look at the attachment the yellow one in the middle is the candidate for the operation. the dark red one to the left is a Cannondale which as you can see employs a pretty basic slot. the pink one to the right is a steel Moser leader with a factory original hole and slot, i reckon they did this because of the ultra thin walled tubing.
Would clamping and cinching the tube that didn't have that as a option originally cause any issues?
And yes i do have a quill stem to go with it but it's a pain to use.
Thanks.

Hello Chaps,
I don't know if there is a thread on this subject already but if so i can't find it here.
Anyway, i have a few sets of Campagnolo 8 speed wheelsets 2 of which are Chorus. I've heard that the Chorus level rear hubs can be upgraded to 10 speed by swapping out for a Veloce 10 speed freehub. does anyone have experience of doing this? and what are the pitfalls if any i'd need to watch out for?

Sam Harding was the nephew of James Harding who resigned as the editor of The Times last week.
The outcome of these two court cases totally baffles me. i suspect that there are too many drivers on the roads of London these days that didn't get their driving licenses by studying the British highway code.

Hello chaps,
I'm a great fan of the marque as well. this one here dates from 1988 and although it has a Ghiradi decal as a head badge it is actually a Moser.
The frame is fully chromed beneath the red paint, the lugs and bottom bracket are Moser and...the Campagnolo rear dropouts are the solid shield type that i've seen on top end Leader frames.
My guess is that a northern Italian Pro or semi-pro had this as his steed initially.
Still looking.
