Hi everyone,
Got the following to freecycle after changing some cockpits around on my bikes.
Raleigh drop bars, 25.4 clamp, roughly 37cm c-c. Bit scratched up but otherwise OK (I am 90% sure they are not bent, if they are it's not by much)
Dia compe brake levers with suicide levers. Mechanically fine.
Cane Creek SCR-5cs, pretty battered but mechanically fine.
Some Michelin CX 700c tyres
Brooks saddle spanner thingy as they keep giving them to me when I buy a saddleI'm in London once a week so pick up pre/post work from Paddington? I could be persuaded to post the various levers at cost (bars I don't think are worth it!). PM me!
Cheers

Want shot of these so giving them away. Will post at cost (think about £6 since they are SUPER heavy) or can meet Paddington (am) since in London once a week.... Really does have to be am as I can't take these huge things onsite to client!
They are a pair of monstrous 700c x 45mm tyres and tubes, wired not folding. I ran them on a cyclocross bike for a bit (like 50 miles) before wanting mudguards so having to take them off. Be warned that they are very heavy (880g each) but are pretty much bulletproof as a result (they came with a 3 year puncture guarantee!).
Specs from website:

Puncture free tread and durable gumwall structure

Realised I like reading these but keeping them around in my house after? Not so much.
33, 34, 37, 40-45, 47-67 subscriber edition, all read but good nick.
32, 35, 36, 46 retail edition, good nick
30 retail edition, bad condition (free)
39 subscriber edition, bad condition (free)Am up for offers, figure £5 each is reasonable. Will happily split, post at cost, do bulk discounts and bring reasonable numbers (i.e. carryable amounts) to Paddington one morning (am based Swindon but in London at least once a week).
Cheers

Right, after a tangly mess of dibs PMs, the Contis have gone. Apologies to @anidel for missing the in-thread dibs, I suck :(

Three sets of v. lightly worn tyres for sale:
1) Conti GP 4000S 23mm. Did a pathetic amount of racing miles, and now I do zero racing miles so have no need for these. £20
2) Panasonic Panaracer Pasela PT 35mm. Awesome touring tyres with tan sidewall, look v.classy. Bought a couple of weeks ago and done < 100 miles but cannot get my mudguards over them so need to sell. £20
3) Vredestein Fiammante Duo Comp 23mm, black £12. Again pathetic mileage.
Based SN5 (Swindon), will post.

Righteo, looking to pick some brains here. More or less just finished truing and tensioning a rear disc wheel (36h Grand Cru touring hub laced to Velocity Chukker, DT Swiss Alpine III spokes). Because this is my first disc hub build last night did some double checking about whether I need to lace it differently (I was just following the Jobst Brandt book like with the rim brake builds I've done).
Attached picture is what I've done. However, this is what Peter Verdone + Shimano says to do
i.e I've got my braking spokes with the heads the wrong way. Drive side is fine.Question is: should I relace the braking side??

Hi, I've got a Kinesis Crosslight fork, 240mm of steerer, 1 1/8 : https://goo.gl/photos/icKeDpLZu2yjXj9DA
PM me if you're interested!
Got some excess bits to sell. Pick up from Paddington before/after work (in London once a week), or will post at cost. Parts mostly came off a bike I bought for the frame so I hope I'm not wildly out with the prices here.
