As per title. Looking to get a nice classic steel road bike again after a few years away from cycling.

Back in the day I was really into steel road bikes and had some nice ones (Gios with full C-Record, Colnago Master, Cinelli Supercorsa etc along with lots of British built bikes.).

I am not looking for anything specific, this is for cycling in good weather in the park with my daughter so just looking for something in excellent condition paint / structure wise (no beaters thanks!) and in my size which ideally is 57cm c-c toptube.

I have enough parts to build up a frame and forks so ideally just a frame but am potentially open to a full bike.

Anyone got anything interesting?

I am looking for a Brompton Superlight (titanium) ideally in 6 speed spec to replace my bike which was recently stolen.

I am in Manchester but thought I'd post here as I guess most Bromptons live in the SE.

I'd travel to collect the right bike rather than deal with any postage worries.

I know this is a bit off topic but I am helping out a family friend to sell the motorcycle and expedition gear of her late husband. There is a whole range of stuff (most pretty high end) from helmets & goggles, all manner of protective riding gear (boots/jackets/jeans/gloves), to tents, camera bits and spare bike parts.

I know it is an eclectic bunch here so thought I'd give it a shot before posting the lot on Ebay next weekend.

The mis-matching cranks are a sweet touch. It enables one to exist in two eras at the same time. That way you are distracted from the fake decals.

Also, the Halfords quick-release seat binder is just the touch of class this bike needed that was sadly missing from the factory. Much improved.

I am looking for a pair (or front only) of Suntour Superbe long drop brake calipers in very good condition. I have a pair of short drop calipers and they don't clear unfortunately.

Would be open to Superbe Pro calipers if I can't get Superbe ones. As above must be long drop.

Happy to purchase or swap for my short reach ones.

Holy abbreviations batman,

Looking for a lightweight, cross country, full suspension mountain bike.

First off I am in Manchester, not London, so postage required if not within say 50 miles.

I am 6ft, so guess a 17-18" frame? not up on modern sizing

Realise this isn't the proper market for this stuff.

Condition and spec over age.

I really don't want something that needs adjusting, new chain, new rings etc

Budget between £300 to max £550 very much dependent on whats on offer.

Not turned a pedal for a few years so this is my early new years resolution.

Hi, looking for some info on a Pinarello frame. It is a Banesto Replica, made from Pinarello Event tubing - which I've never heard of before. Has Pinarello dropouts front and rear and some nice details. Thanks in advance!
