So I recently bought this frameset from the lovely Saxby's for a single speed conversion - http://www.lfgss.com/thread93427.html

It now looks like this:

I built it up and thought I could get away with it but I was thoroughly kidding myself 'cause it's WAAAAAAAY too big for me.

I'm after a decent 54/55cm beater frame and forks so I can have something I can actually use! Something with nice lugs so I can make it pretty would be great and if it came with a seatpost too, I'd be thoroughly chuffed.

So, I have a cuppla options...

1 - I will happily straight swap the above pictured, freshly painted large Raleigh frame for something beaten up in my size 'cause I wanna give it a personal paint job anyway.

2 - I have a brand new, unopened Rapha Hardshell Jacket in Dark Red, size XL that I will straight swap for the same thing, a half decent frameset in my size - http://www.rapha.cc/hardshell-jacket

3 - I'll chuck £60 at anyone who has an appropriately sized frame but i'd rather not part with cash if I don't have to.

I don't need a headset or a BB either btw.

Based on having two framesets done and having a few conversations with the staff, the answer to that would be "it depends". The thing it mainly depends on is the complexity of the job you're asking for. Call them and ask? Take it in and see what they say following an examination of the task at hand?

Chrome looks pimp.

I opted to just go a solid Brunswick green and line the lugs in gold. It looks sick.
