Buckaroo, bad news man. Stars not aligning for this at all. Either way you'll be happier unloading to someone in the UK plus at this price I really do not understand how this hasn't gone yet. If you unstuck the seatpost at some bike shop for £20 you could up the price by £200 and sell it. idk what's wrong with people, but maybe they know something I don't :P
Anyway good luck with the sale! It's a gem

I'd appreciate a quote for shipping if you're able to. But safe to say that if stars align;
1no one snaps it up before tomorrow
2freight isn't impossibly expensive
3get a confirmation tomorrow that some cash should flow my way
..then I'll definitely snap this up! Wont dibs out of fairness. I have the money for it in my account but I can't afford my rent in two weeks unless the aforementioned is confirmed. Fingers and toes crossed heh.

Would you be able to post to Finland and can you give me a figure for such a freight? I'm really in search for a track frame right now but I can't believe this deal even if the seatpost is stuck.
Heart says yes but my wallet might disagree (I'll know tomorrow) as I'm not in the market for a roadie right now... This is killing me:)

So that place where the thread says "For sale" it actually means "Wonder how much this is worth because I'm only selling if someone offers way more than it's worth".
Someone serious about selling has a price in mind and knows what their product is worth. Those are the people who go as far as post a "For sale" -thread.

Hi!
I know this is a long shot but I have to ask anyway:
I need someone, as title suggests, to have a look at a bike that is for sale on Gumtree. http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/for-sale-fixed-wheel-track-bike-graham-weich/1006170284
The seller will not respond to me on Gumtree nor to my SMS, and I'm afraid it's a scam or something. Haven't tried calling yet because international calls would probably end up costing me a whole lot.
If someone on these forums are in the area and could scout it out it would be most appreciated. The seller might contact me back soon in which case I will let you know in this thread that I do not need assistance anymore.
If the seller is unwilling to post the bike I'm either going to have to hire someone here to buy it on my behalf and post at my cost and small reward maybe... or let it go and look elsewhere.
Thanks!

I wish they wouldn't do this

It's a shame this never caught on. I got IRC open every time I'm sat in front of my computer because of other channels, some of which are bike-related too and very active, but in a language called Finnish.
Would be nice to know if there are any IRC users still out there who'd like to add a channel for LFGSS in your /perform -list and set up a live-chat for meaningless banter and general cocking about?
Build it and they will come? If there's any interest at all I'll shamelessly hijack this thread and post some server and channel infos later this week.

If you have an item for sale anywhere other than here, like ebay, bikeradar, ctc, retrobike, etc. then you cannot post it here. However, if you have posted it on one of those other sites, other people who have discovered it are allowed to post it in the eBay/Craigslist finds thread. You must not do this yourself.
This one seems to pop up everywhere..
