I don't think so, people that steal bikes are not likely to post up such detailed pictures.
Always, always insist on buying from an address and not from a tube/train station, and if the guy calls you back on a withheld number, it's a sure sign to back up.
I make sure I get receipts too if I buy from Gumtree. -

I would be tempted to put some drops on this, it's a bargain!

Might need to be looked over, but cheap as chipz! -
Good point, hadn't noticed the dropouts and had no idea about the cranks. Not sure what the fuck's going on though, clearance would be big even with 27".
I take it all back. I wonder what's happened with the frame though, headtube looks more modern than what the rear clearance would suggest.
I was in a bad mood this afternoon, apologies for my curt response.
Oh that's quite all right, no need to apologise.
I have looked a little closer at this frame and it has no drilling for a rear brake too, which makes it even more likely to be track specific.
I first thought that losing a couple of links from the chain would tidy the clearances up, but I think you are right, they are a bit strange. Maybe it was a custom build for someone that wanted it this way. I dunno, but I still think it's a tidy bike at the price :) -
Forks aren't original, and the state of those fucking clearances... it's gaspipe Peugeot - steer well clear.
Also, 'too many hills for a fixie'? GTFO. He's running 46/18 or something.
I am not sure it's a gaspipe, it has track dropouts and the wheels/seat/cranks make it a nice little bike for the monies, in my eyes.
I agree about the clearances though. -

Maybe a bit underground for here, but a big hit in the right circles.
