Conversation with Paul Smith from early this year
This was great, I really enjoyed an insight into the most driven man in cycling. I particularly like Paul, I listened to him speak at this event http://www.itsnicethat.com/articles/here-write-up-1.
fantastic public speaker, hardworker and logical thinker!

Really pleased with service today, wheelset ordered were ready quicker than expected and total price came to a tiny bit less than expected (which is always nice when spending a lot of money) and coffee and friendly chat all made experience of the new shop very pleasant!
LOVE the cannondale track on the wall! and the njs display downstairs!

Ebay prices do not qualify as reference.
Also if you have been paying attention you may have some idea about the going prices in this forum.

I bloody hate it when they do that!
seemingly no damage to bike (at first) and no injuries, apart from a few knocks, he apologized profusely and gave me 20 quid for some sort of consolation. I told him off, accepted the 20 quid and he was on his way.It wasn't until 5 minutes later I realized that my nds crank arm was bent beyond use!
sad and shaken walk back to Camberwell where edwardes cycles kindly bent it back with a huge spanner.
Rideable but feels dodgy. will have to replace chainset soon sadly, particularly liked it. good luck at finding the nds crank arm for this set individually!!

20 metres or so behind a taxi at a resonable pace today in central London and taxi slowed down to a stop. Taxi was pointing towards side street on the left which was swarming with peds so assumed he was waiting for them to cross before turning.....So, i moved towards middle of the road and just as i came along right hand side of said 'left turning' taxi, he pulled a speedy U-turn.

Looking for a black/grey/ even brown a la sherm's amazing cramerotti, track wheelset for my track bike. Want no brake wear on dark coloured rims (classic looking, so mavic open pros etc) and would love a flip flop track hub. Does anyone have anything they are willing to part with? Don't want to spend mega bucks so campag & Phil hubs are probably out of the question. Thanks.

I'm curious as to what people here generally carry in a front rack, beyond alcohol.
I'm asking because I removed my Wald when I found that I wasn't using it enough to justify the extra weight and riding characteristics.
My problem may be that I'm within 8-10 minutes walk of at least 5 grocery stores (3 of which are organic specialists), plus an Italian and a German market, a couple of halal corner shops, a wine store and an LC (Liquor Commission, where the whole range of alcoholic beverages may be purchased).Any flats to let with decent bike and skateboard storage available near yours? lol

too many options on that thread , but thanks mr tester.
http://www.parker-international.co.uk/2793/KMC-Z410-Brown-1-8--Track-Bike-Chain.html
this seems too cheap to hold up for long on street as my everyday bike and once a week on track though. Snapping a chain is the worst thing ever.
Making me feel slow!!
