nice to see your bike with all original decals etc and paint-really wish I had all that but sadly not! IS it a RRA or a raleigh Clubman? Can't quite make out from the photo below.
If you still have the chainring you mentioned I would appreciate a picture, yes, as I may well be interested. PM me a message with picture on here if you can??
Thanks, in advance,

I think just a clamp like a modern frame would. You can see one on these old frames too:

So, anyone got a good recommendation for a London wheel builder to build up a set of vintage 1940's wheels for my RRA?- Constrictor Conloy crescent shaped rims on a Sturmey rear hub and Powell large flange front?
ideally some one with a good reputation for building with used and vintage parts?
cheers

Just cycled past this in opposite direction. Bike under a lorry turning left onto Grays Inn Road. Lots of Police, fire engines, Ambulances and whole junction closed off. Think there was an Air Ambulance above as well. Rider was on the floor in front of the lorry being seen to by paramedics. Really hope they are ok.

Anidel, did you message me about my sales listing fir a hiduminium stem and constrictor conloy rims/wheel can only see have a post as I accidentally deleted some and hadn't noticed your reply.
Were you interested in something. All still available at moment. Was just going to put on ebay but if you want something you have first dibs.
tbh, I'm not sure-and I think the one on the 2nd pic may be bit broken-I'm pretty sure it's supposed to join up under the fork crown.
I'm guessing it was a lot to do with fashion-people liking the look of it more to the 'normal' flat fronted guards. I suppose the fork clip on ones may be a hangover from non drilled forks on rod brake frames?
Maybe someone else here can enlighten me more though. If I'm honest I just like the period look of them, really.
