Having a clear out before Mrs Jeff kills me, so heare are some odds and sods for sale from old builds and the spares box. Some nice, some rubbish-y really.
- Mafac Racer front brake set. Calliper, lever, and a newer cable hanger for centre pull brake. Was on my old Viking Track but not enough room for the cable hanger on new frame and forks so sadly can't use. Great brake, stops you right away-quality old vintage brake. £15.

Anybody have/know of a brand of extremely thin (2mm max guage)bottom bracket spanner/wrench to remove an old style drive side bottom bracket cup-the type with 2 spanner flats? I can't remove the drive side crank as someone has stripped the threads before I got the frame, so wanted to try take the cup of and remove the whole thing as a unit, but there is naff all space between the crank and the bb cup/frame.

just for a heads up, I have these listed for anyone in need of 26 1 1/4 wheels that are nice and (relatively) light: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/283981/#comment12874350

I'm splitting and selling my 20's/30's EF RUSS so though I would list these are on here in case anyone was interested.
26 1 1/4 classic lightweight wheel set. Vintage Dunlop Alloy rims on solite small flanges hubs- rear is a gear sided/fixed and comes with a 4speed block and a fixed sprocket fitted. Lovely rare period wheel set, spin nicely-could just do with a wipe down and polish. Front and Rear are both tied & soldered, which is a nice touch. The front has a lateral buckle but I rode it like this with no issue, so I reckon it's bark is worse than it's bite, and maybe easily sorted out-I don't know, I never tried.
Can be collected east London, or maybe Greenwich/Deptford during the week or central at weekends if easier.
£90 with tyres

, that's cool, nice to find people that still remember frame builders from back in the day. I'm actually selling this bike now though- lovely as it is. It's really too small for comfort, and just not getting much use as my commute and general rides now include quite a lot of busy roads and the trail on this makes riding it on them quite hairy!
No room for more that 3 bikes and need a useful mudguarded track frame to go with the vintage bits I have lying around waiting to build, so this has to move on. Your never really more than looking after these bikes temporarally really I guess, they deserve a life with someone who'll use them. -

It's pretty much fixed. I got a top nut that more or less fits (although maybe a tiny bit of a mm too large.) There is a very slight movement to it but nothing that is ever noticable when riding,-it just annoyed me really. If the headclip is fitted and tightend up correctly there is really no problem I ever noticed-I rode it quite a bit last year-I just don't really have space for a bike thatdoesn't quite fit me now.
If you were interested in buying the bike you're welcome to come and have a look first if you like. I'm in East London, but can bring the bike to central if needed. -
No. these are 27 1/4 wheels. The post war RRA could be built for either-this one was for 27 1 1/4. They are Conloy ASP alloy rims with 27 1 1/8 tyres-impac racepac apparently made by Scwalbe. there ok for now, bit heavy though. I was going to get continental ultrasport 27 1 1/8 but couldn't find anywhere with them in stock. The brake pads are NOS Fibrax from ebay.

Its just unbleached cotton tie tape that I got from my work. It's about 10 mm wide. I think you can probably order it from a haberdashers or a specialist archive materials supplier.

Thanks, very pleased with it
I have some white Bluemel Lightweights that can go on, but reaqlly it should be bluemels Noweights, whcih are very hard to find and always seem to go for silly prices, so I'll leave it as is for now with just the spearpoint fitted. I doubt I'll take it out too much in the rain anyway, so shouldn't be a problem for now.
