I am pretty sure about a silver/polished wheelset now, but I don`t know what kind of rims I should take for 35c tyres. Deep-Vs or low profile ones?

About one and half a year ago I bought a large Steamroller frame and built up my first fixed gear bicycle. Ever since I tried to make it more trackish and ended up with this setup:

Nevertheless, the Steamroller isn`t meant to be a true trackbike and every now and then I realized it when riding fast around the city. I got pedal strike more than once and wanted something more nimble. Now, after I got a really nice Goldsprint track frame, I want the 'roller to be set up as a perfect all around bike for commuting and light cyclocross.

At the moment, I am thinking about good 35c tyres and a fitting fixed/free wheelset in either black or silver polished. Both should fit to my idea of a balanced relation of price and performance.

Decisions has been made! Last weekend I bought a wonderful Goldsprint track frame in Berlin. It built by Colossi and got the Rambler`s geometry. It feels stiffer than the Steamroller and got a more nimble feel, too. I love it so far!

I got a grey one for sale if its not available anymore..

Only got a 167,5 silver Omnium..

Just shot a black Sugino Zen to complete a silver/black OmniZen set. Still thinking about the right frame.

Well, no other track bikes to compare though!? It sounds like almost each and every review and comment Ive read about the BK. Great bike all around! I still wonder if they more relaxed geo of the Goldsprint isnt suitable enough for my riding. I neither go 45 km/h in traffic nor do I ride on the track or doing miles. I just want to commute and bomb some hills every now and then :)

I heard a lot of good things about Bareknuckle`s!

• All I ask myself is why it seems there are hardly any new built-up`s and if the Goldsprint would feel at least as agile as the Steamroller!?
