Still thinking if I should let my Roller go to get something a bit more track-ish. I really dislike the 70mm BB drop and wouldn`t mine a steeper seat- and headtube.
Otherwise this bike runs super smooth and is a bit similar to what I think the BMW Gangsta is. It could be ridden in the forest, on the streets and even on the track. It just depends on what cockpit and wheelset people put on and how they style their bike.
Hard decision!

I am interested in the bike but cannot find any discussions of the frame. There is only a short review and a talk about geometry-issues on the internet.
Folks, help me. Is this frame worth buying? How does it handle compared to other track frames? And how is the building quality considering some street abuse?

Unfortunately I need to fund other stuff, now selling some of my parts. As my Deda Pista bar goes to homingmissle, it would be the cheapest way to post one huge package to London and you guys meet at some point to hand out the bits. Otherwise postage is about £15 each :/
Assuming one package features it all, those are the prices:
£18 for the Deda Newton Deep OS, 44cm (c-t-c), used condition
£20 for the Crankbrothers Cobalt OS, 47cm width, with black Oury Grips, used condition
£145 for the Sugino 75, 165mm, 48T chainring, NJS stamps all over the place, used condition

Hi everyone,
I am selling these two drop bars. The Newton Deep is 44cm wide (ct-c) and in used condition. The Pista was ridden for about 15miles and comes with even new Cinelli Mash SF Hills tape. No scuffs at all, 40cm width (c-t-c). Both are 31,8mm clampsize.
Would be the easiest way if I could send both bars in one package and you Londoners meet at some place.

Steam-rollers, I got a question! I ride a Roller since last year and I am really pleased.
Nevertheless, I am always looking for other options and interesting bikes. That`s why I got few questions to those who rode more "track"-bikes than the Steamroller yet and longer than I did.
First of all I am really interested how the Steamroller performs compared to real trackbikes. Are they much more nimble and even twitchy or is the Roller yet quite up to par?
Second of all I`d like to know how much abuse your Roller took yet? I am thinking about a BMW Gangsta Track or something similar to ride hard through traffic, jumping curbs etc. Is the Steamroller able to take quite some beating or should I handle it with caution?

First of all: I am not totally into trick riding but I like the idea of doing basics like barspins, hops and wheelies. At the moment I ride a 62cm Steamroller as I am 6'5 tall.
Am I totally wrong if I think about getting an old Scissor v1 frame to commute and cruise on? Or should I stick to the Steamroller and put some trick forks on it to use it for commutes, smaller jumps, trail riding and cruising around?
I am currently on 23c tyres. Do you know how much BB height a rear 28c and front 25c probably will add?
I got a 62cm Steamroller so 74° for me. How much do 3-5mm less rake affect the handling?
