Does anyone have any budget friendly dining/kitchen chair recommendations?
We have 4 of these (actually 6 over the years with replacements) but they've all broken in the same place so they're all being collected and refunded
They're to match this dining table
Solid wood please. No fabric/leather. No arms.

I have one of these. It’s fine for DIY. Not the brightest and the line blurs a little at the extreme edges, but for longing things up etc it’s fine. My FIL has the dewalt and it is better, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth the extra cost for infrequent use.
The Stanley has 2 settings - self levelling and fixed. You could raise/lower the horizon line on the fixed setting, but you’d need a ensure it was level. With a spirit level or another laser 🙃

What was your mortar mix ratio? Gripfill etc would probably do for a while but I imagine would be likely to fail after a while.
The proper way would be to coat the back of the stone with an SBR slurry (SBR and cement mix) and lay it on a full bed of bedding mortar (5:1). While not absolutely necessary, the SBR primer will aid adhesion and prevent salts etc leeching up and staining the stone.Where are you based? You'll only need a tiny bit of SBR. I can give you a cup to save you buying a full bottle if you're SE

And @PhilDAS we have a chromecast, that’s how I watch iPlayer/YouTube. I’d like my son to be able to watch Netflix through the TV. He’s too young for a phone/tablet.
The TV I’m replacing is over 10 years old which is why Netflix support has been dropped I guess. -
TVs. I need a new one as our current one no longer supports Netflix. I'm not interested in latest this and that, we don't watch enough decent content. It's mainly for the kids to natively stream Netflix. I'd like a decent snappy UI. I don't need a tonne of connectivity (wifi and HDMI is about it).
Will I notice a significant benefit between LED and QLED?For example there's this LED Samsung for £289
vs
this QLED for £425 -
Could be a good shout
