Yeah - with a 35kg Labrador on the front / 60kg+ of welder / car parts etc, can confirm the extra braking power is required

Yup - I have 4Pot XT front and rear with 203 up front and 180 rear and it’s particularly reassuringly stoppy.
Even managed to send myself over the handlebars once.

Additionally also an excellent condition Shimano XTR 9050 Di2 Long Cage Rear Mech that is advertised in previous threads - still available and willing to listen to offers to clear out

Given they’re not on CK or DT hubs, are for tubular tyres, and are a 15 year old carbon product in an area that has had a lot of development and market entrants (LightBicycle etc) that can now give you a set of premium wheels with any spec you desire for around the £1k mark, you’re probably looking waaaayyy under £500, probably more toward the £250 side of things, if you’re lucky. As the market at the moment is hopeless, and won’t recover for legacy items like this as it’s being flooded with new tech that’s being desperately sold for peanuts.
For context, bought a set of Zipp 303 tubulars with DT Swiss 240s hubs, which were phenomenal wheels, for £250ish a few years ago, which I’d put in almost the same bracket, these probably a lesser one if I’m honest given the American Classic hubs…

Damn shame these aren’t a little (lot) smaller as I always wanted a PTRS frame while we were still active with the club, and still do now, just for nostalgia

Fair point though - battery on iPhones can be terrible after a year or so.

Don’t seem to have any problems with this, holds charge well and doesn’t give me range anxiety 😂
